I've just had an email back from Cambridge to say they have booked me a parking space directly off Newmarket Road at the front of the stadium

  • Thank god someone else said it. Football fans eh ? All these lads with a compass on their tops and they can only find their way to 'spoons.    https://footballgroundguide.com/leagues/engla

That’s some achievement for a home game tbf

I saw 4 or 5 chances, when they got the ball they made it count, reckon Dixon's hands were stinging a couple of times

I cant remember a save of note, by either keeper

We’ll play worse than that and we’ll win

We played well for 75% of the pitch, after that nothing came off. Hard to say anyone played badly , equally hard  to say anyone was great.

Disappointing but not a disastrous performance. Missed train on way home. Got to travel back with @Trafso not all bad 😁😘

Certainly not me.

Cambridge made their opportunities count, I'm certain I saw Dixon saving but it's becoming a haze. Their keeper pissed me off in the second half.

Going to have to look at some highlights... that should take about 3 minutes, on second bottle now

That path though 👌

Plastic and bouncy, we were walking along like Thunderbirds puppets

Their keeper saved with his foot off Afolayan. Dixon took a few routine shots and caught them, making them look easier than they probably were.

Ont telly, hardest one was a miss hit cross that he tipped over, early doors

Evatt was given a yellow card at full time having had a go at the ref.

Shite first half

Dominated 2nd with no end product

They time wasted since the opener

Need another option up top

A frustrating one today , certainly it's one of those play till next week and couldn't score jobs .

Poor decision making and a lack of quality in the final third sums up the day for me , although on the bus into the city centre their fans couldn't believe how we hadn't scored and said we played well 2nd half . The dominance of our build up play in the 2nd half , without the reward it deserved  should hopefully emphasise the need for a target man being recruited ( easier said than done ) . Cambridge defended really well though.

Think he was upset with the timewasting tactics, although the ref replied to him that your team wasted half an hour, passing from Dixon to John, to Santos, to Jones, back to Dixon, and repeat!

Cheers for the heads up regarding the City Centre, the Missus and daughter had a great afternoon and the Park and Ride was spot on , cheers pal.

Watched the game on ifollow with radio cambridge commentators,    I never knew till today that wes hoolahan was the greatest footballer to ever walk this earth.

Did anyone see the 2 lads fighting at half-time ? Seemed to battle of the nonces. Very strange.

Went in the Green Dragon about 15 min walk from the ground... Match Day food specials on offer but no BWFC and the Cambridge lot were getting leery and started pissing me off. Then found a beer garden at the Technology Museum by the river so had a scoop there, no footie supporters.

Police seemed very interested waiting at H/t & F/T

Saw the Plod talking to them...looked like handbags.

Couple of dickheads at the back of the seated stand had to be "talked to" late in the second half... they were being twattish, I'd have chucked them out

Yeah seen that. They'll be worse on school playgrounds in two weeks

About 12 Police went looking for them, pathetic

No worries pal, hope it didn't cost you too much 😉

Twattish sounds about right. Got sick of them calling our own fans 'boring twats' for having the gall to sit down in a seated stand. I heard one guy shout to Dixon "fuck off you Barrow cunt" at 0-0. A few also booed Delphouneso coming onto the field. Just grow up!

It was more the argument they were having. Basically arguing who was the bigger nonce.

Not today surprisingly, but it's done by stealth , they see something and then hunt down the size or colour they want  on line ,that's  if it's not available in the shop.

They sat behind us before kick off, I think they had half a dozen usable teeth and brain cells between them. We moved away. Obviously the pride of DeLacy Drive, diabetes and liver failure should do the trick eventually
