I realise some of you may have zero interest in this which is fair enough but from time to time I like to have a snoop on OppositionWays out of curiosity. Thought it was worth compiling some together which I'll do in this thread whenever I get chance.

Weird isn't it- when I heard him say they didn't bring many, I was a touch surprised as its not a common thing for a manager to say. Yet, its nothing more than a simple statement of fact, so perhaps we have no reason to raise an eyebrow or become so offended.

Whether it was intended as mind games for the return fixture months down the line, who knows, but I doubt it.

Makes me laugh when the Morecambe posters on Facebook try to mock our “wannabe big club” attitudes. Bet they’re so proud that Accrington Stanley are a smaller club than they are.

Not at all. They’ll hate from afar. I find it funny they’re even arsed about us when local rivals, Fleetwood, are just about to buy Cole Stockton, their star striker.

Their argument falls apart when you realise it was not Evatt who raised the claim about racism , it was reporters (Sky I think) who bought it up. This report was passed to ref. 
I do think Santa getting labelled racist is really unfair as it was not him the finger was pointed at by the reporters and think he was not in his seat at the time.

Not really worth addressing any of those points. Was it Morecambe Morrissey was singing about? Could have had a point and I've not agreed with him about anything in the last 2 decades.

 

I suppose successful managers always wind up opposition fans but they guy saying Evatt would be booted out as soon as has a bad spell hasn't been paying attention as he's survived a couple. Data points suggest an upward trend.
