Maybe it was. Certainly didn't look on target when it left his foot.

He topped it into the ground.

Sensational day and result.

Purpose, pace, spirit - we had everything they didn’t.

Mr Evatt doesn’t half do good January business (he was also v nice to my 6 year old when we bumped into him after too 👍🏻)

Final third interplay was superb for me.

Hard to pick out players as all were great but MJ, Fossey, Dapo and Charles were class.

Dion is gonna be a cult hero no doubt.

And a special word for Trafford; had nob all to do and then made a superb save; loved his shithousing too

I think I need a lie down!

When major sponsors pump money in... :)

It wasn't looking at their own highlights!

As you say, it looked a fine finish.

"Who put the ball in the Sunderland net ? Who put the ball in the Sunderland net?.......Every fucking body "    Ha ha ha, just wonderful.

An outstanding team performance, everybody contributed, but if I had to pick a MOTM , it would be between Fossey & Lee. Wonderful !!

These signings have completely transformed the team.

Dion charles is our Jamie vardy. Absolutely immense.

Exactly my thoughts about Charles. Has a bit of rascal about him.

Kicked it straight into the ground. Knew it was going over keeper straight away.

One of those days 😀

How fuckin quick was he for that 1st goal? Hounded their defender from the punt forward then had the intelligence to lob the keeper right in front of their deluded dreamer fans - priceless 😁

The touch and composure from Morley is brilliant.

From where I was sat looked like  he'd shinned it into the ground and it looped over the keeper.

That’s what I thought

Only seen the first goal. Daughters birthday so was out for that. Feel like I've missed out a bit here 😂

Only just got in but feel like going back out I’m absolutely bouncing

One of the best performances I’ve seen at the new ground

Everything was perfect.

They couldn’t handle Fossey, they were completely bowled over by the formation, we got stuck in.

The ref had to count our lads to make sure we didn’t have 14 on the pitch. We were everywhere today.

The partnerships all over the park the confidence in each other’s abilities is just absolutely sensational, IE and his team need huge huge credit, but so do the lads and our amazing fans

And it’s clear we now have a set piece coach!!

Immense today. Loved it, can't remember a time since spurs 97 when every attack could produce a goal.

Confidence, balance and belief, loads of it today, didn't think we fared well in front of other teams support, put that to bed though, great in the stands today.

Well done evatt n co, they're top notch..were in good hands. 👍

They pressed high but not as a unit and we picked them off

ironically they looked like we did a month or two ago

We were belting though

what a brilliant 2 Saturdays in a row as Bolton fans; I can’t stop watching the goal clips

Oh and if Dion Charles wants a go on my missus (or me), he’s welcome to. Absolute star

Hahaha I'm having great fun reading through this. Even funnier when I noticed 87% of them voted for a Sunderland win in their prediction poll at the top.

Very kind of them to upload all the goals too

As you'd expect, plenty after sacking manager.

But one of them just said get BSA in for rest of season 😲

That flick from Lee to Afolayan is fucking genius

They got beat six nil by the Wanderers

They got beat six nil by the Wanderers

Glad you're putting these up.

Saw the goals on SSN and they didn't do them justice, missing out the approach play.

Goals 2,3 and 4 were absolutely first rate

Pal of mine messages me before the game to day we’ll win 4-0

Told him to behave, no chance…

Anyway he stuck £50 on at 90/1 and cashed out for £2.5k. Now he’s had a cracking day!
