Cannot beat the Chinese (sickened) whispers in the stand when something happens.
IE leathered someone, Baptiste offered someone out, IE got hit with a lighter

I still have no idea went on and I think we got short changed with the time

Just got in and can’t wait for Oxford

Didn’t see that mate

Got back to Preston tranmere get on😀

Just another 90 mins from home, a Chinese and a brew. What a day. Again. Pity those that don't follow this club.

He came out after the players left the pitch and asked the fans to settle down.

It is true. Sadly I can only confirm this because my son was watching Thogden's video of the match earlier.

Maybe his comments were a bit over the top then- he must have known something had gone on- but he was clearly angry at being abused and he's an emotional fella.

When he's asked about the handball and sending off in his interview, he emits a massive sigh; genuinely pissdd of at the poor decision. Reminiscent of all those overturned ones last season.

“I’m super proud of MY football club.”

What a fucking guy

IE talks like Rioch and has the sideline passion of Big Sam/Simeone

We will win games we will lose games but one thing for sure this man fuckin lives and breathes this football club.

When he taps that badge over his heart he’s one of fuckin us

Today was up there with Port Vale as one of the best aways i’ve been to in recent(ish) years.

Fucking illegal 😅

Strange day. Shit ref. Good point. Somehow limped my way to the 17.31 train. Sat in the pub in Athy watching the late kickoff. Already looking forward to next Saturday and Tuesday inbetween. The passion on and off the pitch at the moment makes your skin fizz.

It reminds me of the mid 70s the levels are absolutely getting up there…. Unbelievable to think we are creating this passion as a mid level league one team. It’s fucking brilliant.

I thought the sigh,  when asked about the handball and penalty,  was more like,  "<sigh> your asking me about a ref decision when there are much more important things happening!"

Seemed like he was pissed off with yet another wank decision. Didn't see it as being annoyed at the question.

It's going to be an antagonistic atmosphere in the return match. If any of them come that is, given the other thread.

Glad you said that Mounts. A lot of people understandably comparing the current feeling at BWFC with lots of more recent eras. However it is the 70s and that gradual re-emergence under Armfield and Ian Greaves that comes to mind for me. Big home support at lower levels and massive feisty away followings. I hope it can be sustained or even grown. These things do wax and wane.

If you can get on that thread, there's videos taken by Morecambe fans from directly behind the dugout. Can't make out what ignites it all but all gets very heated.

UTFW

Reading those comments ... they're desperately after igniting a rivalry. Morecambe FC - welcome to the club that includes Blackpool, Wigan, Tranmere and formerly Bury. You can probably even lob in Oldham and Stockport.

There'll be simmering resentment now for decades in the seaside town they forgot to close down. A cheer at half time when we are losing in a future Championship or Prem game while Morecambe are drawing 0-0 at home to Crawley. Or possibly Kettering/Bromley/Dover once they are truly back to their level.

Oh well. Nothing new under the sun.

Think she'd been on the pop pre game. Kept lighting her cig up having one or two drags then docking it again. Funny as fuck.
