Plymouth (H)

Over 1000 tickets sold by the Green Army.

Fair play to um.

Tough game, but we owe them after nearly being drowned down at their place.

2-1 win.

Always positive, always comfortable in possession, can take the ball in tight areas under pressure and come away with the ball.  Rarely loses possession but doesn't take the safe option, always looking to create, with pace.  Can put a quality cross in from either flank.  Can shoot accurately from distance with either foot.  Strong.  Decent pace and speed of thought.

Yep. He’s a quality player

As a purveyor of fine football I’m v surprised Tomski isn’t a fan…but as he says we all see it differently

Isn’t this where we all start calling each other out for having different opinions? 😀

Not your ‘favourite’ pansy?

Go on then, who's the lout in Aquascutum shirt?

100 % Traffords fault. It's a lofted ball to the back of the six yard box. He's not being blocked off and he should be coming to claim or punch it. He can see it all the way. I like him, he's young and he will learn, but that goal is his fault.

I said at the time was keeper's ball. Anything inside the 6 yard box should have the keeper's name all over it

Just watched the vid. I take that back. Anything between the posts in the six yard box is the keeper's. That's way beyond the back stick

I see it the same as well. Said post match on here Sadlier should have started, and firmly believe if Evatt had kept Bod and Charles on, we could well have won.

The problem we will have next season is that our fans will expect us to win every game 🙄

Same as this season then .

Dont think he should have come for it.  He 100% shouldve done better though.  It came at him head height, couldve cleared it with his bonce.

Anewman/Specialone/JayC would have woke up last night with palpertations and flashbacks of Jussi on his knees

It will be 10 times worse next year.

As has been said previously games like yesterday show our limitations particularly in defence.Johnstone has been a disappointment Plymouth targeted him yesterday long balls around the back of him & he looked uncomfortable in a back three . Aimson is a bog standard squad centre back with poor distribution skills , again not suited to three at the back.I am sure this will be addressed by Evatt in the summer.Agree Dapo is not a no.10 even though I thought he would be .

Rest of season now is about assessing our playing staff & formations. Sadlier has to start along with Dempsey .We are short of top six quality , but not that far short .Top ten finish would be a good achievement & of course it would be nice to roll out the A team at Wigan & stick it to them .

Onwards & upwards next season.Keeping Santos would be a big plus.

Madri's are the worst thing that has happened this season.

I agree with all that. There needs to be a revolution in central defence this summer. Signing just one new CB isn't going to be enough. Johnston, Aimson, Baptiste is not the required standard.  If I'm brutally honest about Santos I think he's good for a promotion charging side in League 1 but less sure about how he'd look in the Championship. Maybe I'm being a bit unfair to the lad but he'd definitely have it to prove. Anyway - there's water to go under the bridge before we can start having that conversation.

The new 'Spanish' lager they installed a few games back.

4.6%, taste amazing but you end up drinking at the same pace you do 4% Coors and end up hammered in double quick time.

You assume correctly.

It's half 12 and I'm still hanging out of my arse.

I’d agree with all of that TBH

I certainly wouldn’t be tying santos down to a big contract

As for the in-fighting/bickering on here, I think Rudy & Grey need to sort it out once and for all away from the board.

I'm not for taking sides, as I only really know Grey of the two, but I'll say this. "Grey, I like you, fella, but you're better than this, sort it out, pal"

Right we get it, Grey and Rudy don't see eye to eye, basically getting to a point where I can't be arsed reading threads because of sniping.

Grey sorry but you work with young kids, we both know the score, if he's chatting,  leave it be.  Life's too short.

Me either. He's a good league 1 defender. And so physically imposing. But I think he'll get ripped a new arsehole in the Championship. And his heading in both boxes is shite for a big lad.

Yep I know he’s a defender but his attacking qualities are zero, so many defenders these days are scoring goals in all leagues the lad at Burton banged 2 against us in one game!

without looking I bet aimson & jonstone have scored 5 between them
