They should thank WW for its efforts over the years. Each member chucks £5 into the kitty alongside their username and then the new stadium name is drawn. I can just hear R5 now: "And there's bee

Surely we can have both a sponsor and permanent name. As others have said, we have the Lofthouse Stand already but nobody really uses that, including the club so why not the Middlebrook - Sonosor name- stadium? Clearly it’s always going to be situated within Middlebrook so it makes sense to use that and the just add in the sponsor as it changes. Then just as we referred to it as the Reebok it would permanently become the Middlebrook. Nothing for me will ever replace truly Reebok as a name and it will forever be that for me and many other Wanderers.

Probably 25 years too late on a proper name by now.

Id really love it if we just fucked the whole sponsor thing off and named it something to do with BWFC.

Unless Reebok are coming back.

Well they've left Adidas now so there's a decent chance that may be the case.  They're releasing Reebok Silverwell Street trainers soon, that in itself says they're happy with their roots.

Might start calling it the Brokeback, diversity and inclusivity for all.

Didn't know that.

How does it work exactly: if Adidas bought them out, and moved offices etc, does it involve effectively a new company buying back the brand name?

Well, just had a look. Adidas sold them on to another company last year. ABG group.

I’m probably miles off the mark with this one, it’s only a sneaky feeling, it’s them bringing the Silverwell Streets out raised my eyebrow when the club announced a new stadium and shirt sponsor too inside a couple of weeks of each other.

Not a clue to your question by the way.

Long overdue this despite it being low down on the priority list...

What do you think is the area that needs the most work?

"When you look around, I have felt - and so has Sharon (Brittan), the board, Ian (Evatt), that there are places that are starting to look a bit tired and haven't had a bit of TLC for many years, really, and it hasn't been a priority," Hart told The Bolton News (subscription required).

"But this summer it does feel like we should get round it, and we are. The supporters will see a lick of paint on the lower areas of the stadium.

"We've had rusty doors painted different blues across the stadium - but now we have one pantone blue colour which is being rolled out across the site!

"Doors, rails, barriers are being sorted, we're doing repair works in the concourse and more painting there too. It's a real spruce up, externally.

"Supporters should also see improved signage on the car parks and on the turnstiles as well.

"And looking at Lostock we have been working with Ian on rejigging a few of the spaces and smartening things up so it suits how he and the players want to operate.

Getting rid of the Cheltenham Festival 2020 adverts from the toilets would be good, unless it’s some sort of weird Covid warning.

Any chance of some central heating under the stand and maybe a seat or two?

Apeman spaceman been advertising their new single under North stand for ever. Wonder how many sales it's generated??

The whole place needs a jet wash.

Our stadium is light years better than any club in Div1, and better than many in the Championship. But does need tidying up.

Good man this Neil Hart.

Obviously we had the broke days  but stuff like this is eady to not notice when you're there daily. Getting these touches right are simple, relatively cheap but add to the feeling the club is on top of things.

The TV's in the boxes, I'm sure just needs someone to point it out. The club could buy in bulk, from the manufacturers/wholesalers, VAT free, discounted for bulk ... for less than £250 a pop.

They could get a bigger screen for replays etc. The current one is a bit embarrassing. Less cheap though.

Didn’t we get sponsored by some TV retailers  from Farnworth?

I thought they supplied loads of tellies as part of the deal.
