Verdict will come back fairly swiftly I imagine, but sentencing isn’t normally straight away.

I have no idea what the sentence will be, but it’s certainly going to be a lot shorter than people are hoping for / expecting. The offences they’ve been charged with don’t carry huge custodial sentences even for the worst cases. It will be less than the (most serious) rioters got.

Add in the fact that there were no weapons etc. and it’s not going to be the most serious of examples for sentencing guideline purposes. The fact they didn’t plead guilty will at least avoid a reduction in sentence for an early plea.

One of the plumbers was telling me that they’ve done some work in some of the hotels full of crack heads, and they have to keep going back because the residents will literally nick the fittings and pipework to weigh it in for meth.

He also told me they’d sent one of their apprentices into a dungeon in one of the gay hotels for almost an hour and he came out visibly traumatised.

20 racists plonked on the pews on a Sunday morning, and all of a sudden they would outnumber the congregation in a lot of churches. 

And I'm pretty sure I could go toe to toe with any of them on scripture too!

To be fair, church is a load of bollocks. But, my mum used to say Sunday was for family time and if you don't have one then I can see how the church can provide something approaching that so fair enough. Same applies for other religions too.
