  • I just wish folk would stop producing bollocks information and spreading it. 3 kids have been murdered ffs and the first thing someone can think of is set up a fake twitter profile and post some

It would be perceived as another example of multi-tier.

It would, but only by absolute fuckwits

I'm not sure any sentence that is handed out will be much of a surprise be it 2 months or 2 years, after all, these days, you get arrested and thrown in jail, just if you say you're English

...and then if you wave that 'racist' symbol. Throw the fucking key way.

Better times are coming.

19 Crimes.

Now that’s deplorable.

I don’t watch GB News. I watch the BBC. Is this true?

Likewise, I’ve never watched it. Not a clue what number it’s on. The most I see of it is posts on here from those who don’t watch it 🤷🏻

I presume it means BBC News channel, rather than the BBC. I'd be shocked if more folk watch GB News than the News at 10. Maybe they do though.

Aye.

In comparison to all other news channels.

In the month of July too.

Still, some meteoric rise.

Plus BBC News has an app

Can't argue, it's really impressive. Other than the steward of our village club, I don't know anybody who admits to watching it

Difficult to argue those points (although I'm sure Cheese probably will)

Not at all. I hope he gets put away for as long as possible.

Still manages to argue whilst not arguing. Brilliant 😊

Sad if true.  Unlike other news outlets it makes no attempt whatsoever to be impartial, as per Ofcom charges over the years. Fox News UK. Whenever I’m at my dad’s I end up watching it and really despair at the tripe they broadcast. How the presenters keep a straight face when spouting the unbalanced, dangerous nonsense is beyond me. If you like listening/watching to media that only reinforces your own beliefs then fair cop I suppose, but I for one don’t believe immigrants are the cause of all our ills, nor that Trump and Farage are the saviours of the world.

And that's a post saying you never watch it in reply to a post from someone saying they never watch it

Something didn't add up here

Maybe someone is lying about GB news' viewing figures or people who say they don't watch it are lying

To be fair you can’t really grasp national  figures using half a dozen people on a footy forum

Nothing sinister. The headline is from the Telegraph who I follow on X but I don’t subscribe. It was a genuine question. I watched it once and decided it wasn’t for me. Like RW, I see more about it on here than anywhere else.

Aye, totally with you both

I don't know anyone off line who watches it

It only ever comes up on here though I could say that about most of the topics that get discussed in terms of my exposure to them

I had a look once but wasn't for me, I don't really watch much news at the moment but if I ever do it's the BBC

The only folk I know who will willingly watch it are Bolty and Crawley's parents, because I read that on here

The are good at putting their clips all over X and Facebook which is why they get picked up and linked on here.

Yeah that's how I read it too. I'd be very surprised if it's pulling in more numbers for the main news programmes. But who knows in this day and age. There's a lot of people who only want to hear what they want to hear - rather than a news channel/s at least attempting to be impartial.

Dangerous precedent, but wholly in keeping with the way the world is moving.

It wouldn't exist, if other channels were completely impartial.

Utter bollocks

Is GB News completely impartial?

If the answer is a no then it exists because other channels are impartial

Otherwise it can't spread its message out as freely

GB News reminds me of Mrs Browns Boys, it's popular and lots of people watch it but no one seems to know anyone who watches it
