Slightly misleading, they have not reached a verdict, the advice from the judge today was that as one of the jurors has been discharged (off on holiday !) A majority of 10 from 11 will be acceptable. This was a response to a note from the jury the contents of which were not disclosed. 
 

There is nothing to confirm if the jury is unable to reach a verdict.

There are a number of charges relating to the earlier attack then the individual attacks on each copper by one of the brothers and on one copper by the other. Even if the jury is split it could relate to any of the charges. 
 

Hopefully resolved tomorrow as much as we think they are both guilty we have only seen the video there is two weeks of evidence for them to consider. 
 

Do not interpret any of this as me saying I think they deserve to get anything other than a long sentence as previously stated

This isn't quite right

The juror being discharged has no bearing on the majority direction

I do not think I said it did. What I said is that the judge clarified this position. Maybe the jury asked if going from 12 to 11 changed the majority rules and he confirmed it did not.

Obviously speculating on what the note said as it was not read out but the main point I was making was that jury have not said they can not reach a desicion. They might be struggling but who knows and that struggle may relate to all of the charges or just one of them. The judge did say it would be preferable if they did all agree. 
 

The video of the attack looks pretty damning but there must be lots more evidence to consider given length of trial.

Given the footage it looks like the decision should take about 3 seconds.

They are swinging punches and headbutts a female police officers and breaking noses in the process.

My sceptical mind was thinking the only reason a juror may not be able to see this clearly is a possible bias.

I had been on the ale, but my point still stands.  Regardless of the timing, you've got to have faith in the legal system. Otherwise it will just be mob rule.

Speculating about the ethnicity of the jurors? They aren't the ones on trial.
