After receiving a suspended sentence, he struck again two years later, this time threatening two 16-year-old girls with Stanley knife in a warehouse stockroom. The girls were “screaming and crying” as he tried to tie them up, before they managed to escape and raise the alarm. He bragged about his previous attacks in messages with a potential accomplice he met online, later telling the undercover officer: “I got 16 months. Our justice system is s*** tbh.” One of the his previous victims revealed she was paralysed with fear when he tried to kidnap her on a train in 2006 armed with an imitation firearm and rope. July 12, 20242 yr The only reason this case was of any interest to me was it reminded me of a job i did for a similar type o couple of times. Used to do maintenance for councils and housing association tennents in adult care settings, some of these people had warning indicators against them due to their dodgy activities. Anyway some of these warning indicators advised any visitors must go in 2s (sometimes just incase they make allegations). Didn't always have full access to their case files but was always worth checking just so you had a bit of an idea what you were walking into. Back to the point, this one who reminded me of the Holly case, not only looked like him but had in his case file that he fantasised about killing someone, cooking them on a bbq and eating them. In real life he was a big fat softy that cried when you used an SDS in his house and had to cuddle his little doggy. My point is, all this info was available to many people but at the end of the day it was all in his own imagination, should he have got 16 years if he was caught trying to buy a bbq??.
July 12, 20242 yr Don't know if you've heard the full sentencing remarks of the judge. He gave plenty of details about the plot, and explained why the bloke wasn't a fantasist. Moreover he tried to solicit help. He's also got form. No doubt a danger, and got what he deserved.

I managed a building job in a high security prison a while ago... one of the areas I had to survey while it was occupied was referred to as the "OCD Wing" were the sex offenders and murdering rapists were, it seems the mind set of these people is very OCD hence the nickname and every other keeper was a mental nurse. They were all very fat as obviously they weren't allowed much exercise but also extremely clean and liked to try to stare me out (I was with a guard at all times but still received a couple of threats). When I found out who was in there I made certain I made my mark... there was a library area and everything was "just so", so I turned a couple of books upside down on the shelf when no one was looking... I knew that would piss them off, I like to imagine them kicking off and giving the guards a good excuse that evening
