Fuckin hope so. It was the same last year though. Good spell, bad spell. OK we have had a good run, but too many draws, and now this. Does SS have a period every couple of months, and lose his head? Do the players not want it, when it has been there for them? Are the coaching staff over thinking games; selections, personnel etc? Truly bizarre.
-
Clearly the pitch is an issue, but did SS make too much of it in the week? Are they so focused on whatever they've been practising on preparation, that they're scared to try and pass it?

Apart from Lincoln, no one at the top end is flying. Cardiff drew. A win would close the gap-even if it is too late, the players ought to be fighting to chip away.

They seem to have settled for the play offs, but forgotten to be professional for the last few games. We do go through phases of playing well, then being a bit shit. Still on a decent run of course, but we could have been so much better off with fewer draws as a result of not conceding soft goals

He's saving himself for Wales' play off game next week. He'll run the show.

Having got the Ayatollah, he's risen up the list. Maybe even higher if his non- apparent son has also croaked. Not at the top yet though.

Magnificent bacon, sausage and egg butty this morning. Traditional grub on such an important holiday. Red sauce of course.

That last sentence is exactly what I say, with the caveat that you have to be on hand in case it does get beyond growling and snapping.

Absolutely. Our human instinct is to keep our dog away from others at times, because of our own concerns. Our dog then feels that, and behaves accordingly. My lad is wary, and won't relax. Ends up walking them on pavements by and large, on the lead.

We've been in play offs so many times over the years, that they can lose their excitement, to be replaced with a sense of dread!

Magnificent goal by Kane there. As long as he's fit, I reckon he'll be freed up, and not "confined" as per Southgate.
-
Crikey. A dig at everyone there.

You're not going to win anything with Liverpool this year. -
Dogs that are permanently on the lead don't get the opportunity to socialise and may become more insecure. They're sociable creatures after all, but like people, will have disagreements with each other.

A sense of balance required here. For me, he's a third division player. Talent with the ball, but absent in the physicals. He shouldn't be "first pick" any more than others. We've seen both sides of his game all the while he's been here. We win with him playing, and lose with him playing. In some games, where the opposition is decent and "in your face" he isn't anywhere near as effective as he is when our football is dominating and he has that bit more time. As I've always said; if he was so good, he'd have been playing at a higher level. Nevertheless, played at a decent level in this league, and may yet help get us up.

Nice idea, but just can't see it. Not great thinking of such an old estate being fucked over neither, but that's "progress" I suppose. Remember also that Burnham recently said he wanted the nation to move away from a market led model. Well, if this isn't about, big business, big money and elite earners, then nothing is.

This is the problem at the moment. So many look through the eyes of Trump hatred. He's a cunt, shoots from the hip and clearly isn't liked very much. Nevertheless, Iran was always going to be sorted sooner or later and there was plenty of time for all interested parties to prepare, which we didn't. Nowt to do with joining in the initial attacks, but preparing for the bleeding obvious and making sure we had our interests protected.

Never pick your dog up mate. Just makes the situation worse. Might go against instinct, but say hello to the other dogs- show yours that you're not scared. That way she will start to feel more relaxed. By picking her up, you are passing on your concerns to her, and reinforcing her lack of comfort. Obviously, if a dog was to have a proper go, then circumstances change, but that is very rare.

Last night's performance wasn't good, but we didn't lose, and still should have won. Of course we have to improve; we've been up and down within games recently. Nevertheless results haven't exactly been bad. Can't help feeling a touch of disappointment has crept in as we haven't been able to make inroads into the gap above us. That is very much the responsibility of the manager and his staff to suss out and deal with. Manage tired and sore bodies, keep up morale, issue bollockings when necessary and gradually build them up for the play offs. Getting good results over Bradford and Stockport would be very useful in that regard.

Aye. Or use wide men who aren't necessarily out and out wingers, but midfielders happy on the flanks. We don't generally have that though, so the 3 in the middle may be better.

A sad tale, but hopefully he will come through it in a better place. Chipped in- wish him all the best please. -
Starmer bottled the Iran situation- use of bases- and has played the lawyer role since. Quite cleverly actually. His change of heart over bases, was accompanied by the stipulation for only defensive action. At the same time he explained that such defensive action is better achieved by striking missiles and drones whilst on the ground. Which (who knew) is precisely what the US forces targeted from the off. An action perversely described as offensive and illegal at the time. Politics; the "polite" form of cuntdom.

On a separate note, and this could equally fit into the Iran thread, there is a sort of delicious irony happening. We should be helping to get the straights of Hormuz open, as it will benefit us all, and bring oil prices down quicker. At the same time it will reduce Russia's increase in sales value of its oil (that which it can safely get out of course). Nevertheless, Trump's moaning about the rest of NATO is no doubt precisely what the rest of NATO thinks about his attitude towards Ukraine. Additionally, American arms manufacturers have benefited from increased sales, as opposed to donations, at a cost to Europe. As stated above, that has also come back to bite him with many nations now reconsidering their purchases for their own military. Much to the chagrin of the manufacturers. Time for some cool heads: Marc Rutter seems a decent bloke with his head screwed on. Hopefully he can find a way to show Trump the negative impacts of his approach to his own nation, get him to wind his neck in, and simultaneously show the rest the benefits to their own economies of chipping in with escorts for shipping. One things is for sure, China will be looking on with a bit of a smile on its face.

Orban will be out of office in three weeks. Unless of course he prevents free elections. Given the mass protest the other day by opposition supporters, it would seem unlikely he will cling on be fair means or foul. If the EU can't come up with an emergency way to circumnavigate Slovakia's idiots, then they truly are a rabble. I trust they will though.
