Is there a window where you can relocate your seat to a seat that hasn't been renewed, whilst still paying early bird prices?

Have a mate who's looking to buy in ESL but currently there are no seats available in that stand, was wondering if he could buy a ST now, then relocate to ESL later when the seats which haven't been renewed become available.

You have to renew and then you can move later I believe

My mate's in same boat.  He's decided to sack it off coz he can't be bothered with the risk factor of not being able to move to a seat in ESL, and doesn't want to pay the higher price.

Every game there are plenty of spare seats in East lower together, me and my lad never had a problem.

Went down yesterday to renew mine. A few in front said the same. Dead easy in person.

Aye, i prefer the personal touch, but a round trip of over an hour when working and in my own garden wasn't on.

I agree and I'd buy one no problem, don't really care where I sit or who with TBH, but he can't be arsed with not knowing which seat he'll be in from 1 game to next.  Its just the difference between the committed/passionate and the others.

The empty seats are because so many ST holders don't turn up every game, we all want cheaper tickets to encourage crowds but it also means folk can't get access to seats that won't be used, they just stay empty much of the time.
