I don't mind the Cherry Tree, but EWE on the A6 at Wingates has the edge for me

Talking to my mum today and referred to this thread. My 60th in January so doing a meal/piss up in Manc for all those over here but want to take her out in Bolton as she will be close to 87 by then so it won’t be her thing :D.

Looking at maybe Cherry Tree, Yew Tree, Ewe. Her mobility is now really shite. She relies on her wheeled zimmer frame thing. Are they all good for access for that? She can’t cope with any sort of slope/gradient

Mrs Manc has booked Ewe for tomorrow for a family do. Did it used to be that American diner place?

Liberty c.1991

Ta. Been bugging me all day what it was called

Liberty Street. That’s the one. Went there quite often when I lived in Lostock on a Saturday lunchtime for food and beers then a cab to Burnden for the game

Edit: It may have been called Liberty or Liberty’s. I have it mind it was Liberty Street but I might be a confused old cu…

Ewe

Amazing

The Manc lot amongst us are booking again and happy to travel. Bolton lot doing the same. That place is a gem

Top notch. That’s the quality you expect in top end city centre places

Make sure you get the beef wellington next time you’re there. Amazing.
