Bit harsh- good awareness of a teammate perhaps in a better position? Plenty may have taken a shot, especially when short of goals. We got the goal and the win.

Far from spectacular but dealt with all (the little) Shrewsbury offered and found a way to win. Exactly the kind of performance we missed out in this type of game last season. New lads settling i

If you count CMG that’s 4 strikers on the bench but then again is Dan a striker ?

He would get more Touchers being a

Ball boy

Very attack minded midfield  - a bit disrespectful to Shrewsbury IMO - hoping we don't get overrun.

Need to get a grip of this and assert our quality but the passing and control isn't quite coming off yet.

Shrews fans just confirmed my suspicion - the pitch was narrowed at the start of the season - which will limit the space for our WBs and suit their compressed style.

FFS Victor.

If it’s not a tap in he isn’t scoring

No point in lumping it forward, but it's tricky with no width to work with.

Some of our play as been really good at times just that final ball

Following the usual feed- it doesn't seem that we've done much down the right- much talk of Thomason and Williams.

Exactly Franny, four times now really good moves ruined by really awful final balls. If we could get that right we’d be cooking on gas and I’d love to have their set piece coach at ours, their corners and free kicks have been terrific compared to our hopeless efforts.

Has a manager ever been sacked at half time?

about time we made a decision for the good of the fans

Thought that was a pretty poor half

To slow in the passing and not much of a press.

Poor half from both teams, not one shot on target from any! 2nd half cant be any worse, these are there for the taking. Get the final ball right we will be fine.

if we can get one these will fold

Jones isn't playing well and their left winger is a tricky unit so he's getting pushed back. All their crosses are coming from that side. Maybe Forrester could do a better job on him?

Main issue is they have packed the midfield with strong athletic players so there's no point in lumping it and there's no width to get around them down the sides.

That leaves us with passing through them and our passing game isn't quite on it yet.

Will catch 15 minutes of Griezman and co now and pretend the last 45 minutes never existed.

Too sloppy in the final third , especially Victor , should of buried that.

Were on top and should win but we need avoid complacency here because it's got that feeling that one goal will do it and we don't look convincing defending set pieces.

Exspect us to win, but FGS step it up a bit. So slow.

Pretty laboured, sloppy at times but do also look like we can create a chance or two if we can improve the final ball.

Narrow pitch, physical side, not able to move the ball about as we’d like - these are the typical games that have been our nemesis for so long, if we can grind a result out then it will be a big indication that we’ve made progress on that front this season.

Hang on, we've scored several goals from set pieces in recent games. We're not that bad.

Pace up front is needed Vic off CMG on .
