That was one of my first away trips.  Lost 5-0, boiling hot day at Easter, Aldridge scored his 1st Oxford goal.  We played Wigan at home the day after - imagine the whinging that would create now (won 1-0).

I’m sure we lost there in the late 90’s?

Could be wrong though & we got a draw.

Love a midweek away game… in the comfort of my front room.

That drab 0-0 draw in 1999 was a borefest.

Decent piss up round Oxford though day & night.

It was the first time we realised that the city has some fairly rum areas outside of  the town centre.

History means nowt - this game is all about our current  promotion credentials and I’m praying for another classy performance. Huge opportunity to stamp our authority on the title chase and damage another contender.

We lost at home to Wigan the day after. 0-1 Steve Johnson scored for them.

They were the reverse fixtures from the Xmas period, where we'd won 1-0 at Wigan (Chandler) in our first ever game there and then beat Oxford 1-0 the day after at Burnden (Chandler again)

Remember the 96 game it was touch and go if we could travel it was heavy snow in Bolton took around 6 hours to get there

anyone know any decent boozers for before the match? didn't bother last time we came so have no clue really

The bowling place across the road was decent last year. Watched the Grand National in there after the game
