November 28, 20232 yr There's now a match thread on there and its a mixed bag of how they will paly tonight. It seems that their previous took the back room staff when he left and they haven't been replaced. November 28, 20232 yr No surprise to see the ref getting several mentions. He's actually shitter than the L1 average, which is piss poor.

November 28, 20232 yr I wonder if some tactical changes will occur, in a similar way to the other week (Shrewsbury)? Or same team.

Hope Evatt sticks with the same team. Defence looks solid, midfield is clicking and confidence will be high. Unpopular opinion but that Dempsey injury is a blessing in disguise.
November 28, 20232 yr All depends if Maghomas injury concerns are now gone. If not can see him rested. How far is Randall off?

We've done very well since Dempsey got his injury, but perhaps part of the reason for our poorer performances was his injury. A bit of Evatt stubbornness- which he has accepted- didn't help. I was just wondering whether he would stick with the same team, or just tweak it to account for Oxford's qualities.

Are they physical? Seem to have come out of nowhere.

Just reading their forum comments, they reckon we're both footballing teams. So do we go toe to toe so to speak and compete that way, or does Evatt throw a curve ball in? Reckon we'll stay pretty much as we are.

If we go toe to toe with anyone in this league on that basis then we’ll win if we’re somewhere near our best.

November 28, 20232 yr Sensible decision to include Coleman on the bench instead of Jerome with the other strikers we have but hopefully we won’t need him?
November 28, 20232 yr No sign of Williams recovery - makes sense to rest him even if he is on the mend. I voted for the draw BTW not that it means anything. We just need a performance and with this ref, discipline.

November 28, 20232 yr Looks like they’ve gone for a team to push Cogley and Iredale back to limit our attacking options. Should make for a battle in midfield so I hope George can keep his cool.
November 28, 20232 yr For some reason they've added 'Audio' and 'Video' buttons at the bottom of the WanderersTV Live page. Thought I was stuck with commentary and a black screen until a minute ago. COYWM Edited November 28, 20232 yr by Cheese
