Doesn’t get rushed in to a mistake and knows when to go long rather than always playing out. definitely id have been hoofing a few of them, particularly first half, as far as i could, but not him traf is very young and very, very confident and once or twice it cost us this fella is, imo, a better keeper at this stage, but he does have a few years more experience
January 8, 20242 yr I think he's really well rounded, arguably a better overall player than Traff, especially early doors. Put that down to age and experience though, don't think his ceiling is anywhere close to what Trafford can/will be. He'll do for us for a good while, don't see an issue with him being the man all the way to the Prem if it came to it.

I think its when it goes to his weaker side, and when we perhaps overplay occasionally- there are very few keepers that are talented enough to cope under real pressure.

Was a big ask to replace Trafford. Not only did they get it bang on but we have a potential value on him now

But he's accurate and always wants to receive the pass. He came about 35 yards out of his box yesterday just to play a 1-2 with Santos so he didn't have to go all the way back. That's completely out if the keepers comfort zone and really pleasing to see. He's been a really fantastic addition
January 8, 20242 yr He's absolutely championship quality and a superb free signing. Goal keeper is a position you need to see them play quite a bit to get full confidence in him. I have no doubts he's going to do a great job for us
January 8, 20242 yr He's proving to be the best signing for ages. I think he's benefiting from Matt Gilks coaching. His confidence is getting better with each game and playing with a fairly settled defence in front of him is only good for the team.

January 8, 20242 yr No question a fantastic signing by IE and CM. I was unsure of him at first after Traf but he’s more than proved himself so far and I don’t think he’s anywhere near his best yet. He certainly won’t look out of place in the Championship with us next year. 😉
