Just got back. What a shambles that M62 is. 

A point is only ever worth the same, and yet that was a FUCKING AMAZING point that you’ve really got to hope will be a swing in momentum in our favour for the business end of the season.

Second best for probably 80 minutes and yet I’m disappointed we didn’t win it in the end. Characters have justifiably been questioned over the last 10 days but that was true grit, and then some.

I think it'd be very harsh to lay any blame on Coleman for the first. Thomason has more than enough time and space when the ball is played to him.

2nd goal starts with a loose pass from Ogbeta and then Santos has his pants pulled down. Looked like we'd got away with it until the corner came in...

The blame's on Evatt for the first one. They're division 3 footballers and not capable of doing what he's asking them to do reliably enough. He needs to adapt when faced with such an effective high press.

Barnsley played percentage football in our half the first 60mins and were the better team, and tbh the last 30mins we went very route one to change the flow of the game and get the ball in their half. At this level territory seems to beat possession 

One thing I will say about Coleman is that he did a tremendous job of controlling his area for much of the second half, and more often than not was fairly quick at restarting play from that point. 

Would have been an absolute travesty to come out of that match empty handed & over the moon that we punished their shithouse time-wasting antics got what they deserved in the end! Expected Barnsley to be better than what they where tonight, thought they looked miles better at our place few week ago as Baxter was MOTM in that where as this match Coleman hardly had to make a save. We shoot ourselves in the foot playing out gifting them a soft goal, make an absolute calamity of defending our box from a set piece to concede from a pinball  ricochet fest but compare our chances to theirs. Second half we played with intent, ferocity, drive…. Victor & Collins looked really fucking dangerous when we managed to provide any decent balls into them. Could be a massive point in the end let’s take the momentum now

First down to GT he has plenty of time as ball arrives.

Second was all round shit from misplaced pass, Rico diving in and no one closing the ball down.

GT is an exceptional player at this level, if refs let him tackle he will be even better, he is being reffed to different rules.

We didn’t go route one. We played through them a number of times such as Maghoma’s chance. The difference was that we started playing the progressive pass better and  linking up…and it was a joy to behold! 

Noticed that after the Derby game we will have played 6 of our last 8 games away from home. That's including games against 3rd & 4th and 2 of our biggest rivals.

If we can come out of that into the international break in a similar position to where we are now, then I believe we are in a super strong position.

Would also allow us to attack the last 7 games (last 4 games, 3 are at home) with real malice, and hopefully with Charles, Baxter and potentially even Johnno to come back for then.

Good job us fans don’t make the decisions. Collins wouldn’t have been left on to create the first, Vic wouldn’t have been on the pitch to put it away, Thomo would have been dragged off at HT and theres no way Jerome would have been brought on to win the pen.
