March 5, 20242 yr Tonight as got me believing again after the Wiggin match I was doubtful we would even make the play offs ! Just hope we crack on from this result and let’s see what Barnsley are made of because this result will feel like a massive loss to them!
March 5, 20242 yr God, there's a LOT to dissect from that game. But to me, the biggest thing, and arguably the most important, is fucking shown FIGHT! Whether it was the intensity, the belief, the desire to score, the shithousery, seeing Santos and Toal bodying that prick Cosgrove and Iredale giving it to him as well. And then the scenes after the final whistle. The players have shown how much it means to them and that they are up for the fight. For the first time in a while, I'm fucking proud to be a Wanderer. Lots to come now and more tough challenges ahead. But I don't care, Derby, Barnsley, Pompey, any of them, if we play like we can and show the fight like we did today, we can do it. Lets go get this promotion now. COYWM.

March 5, 20242 yr Feels like a win that. After being 0-2 and then missing so many chances it really did feel like we'd fucked it up. Fair play to the players and Evatt. Brilliant last 30 mins. Thought Collins had his best game, looked a real live wire and should've had a penalty after being pulled back. I was fuming when he was replaced with Jerome ... but it worked. Jerome had a massive impact, setting up a sitter for Bodvarsson and winning the penalty. Also, pretty sure Santos was employed as an auxiliary striker for the last 10 mins, something I've never seen us do before. Looks like Evatt has finally decided there are times when he has to throw his philosophy out of the window, because it worked tonight. Shame that the top two has now gone, especially as we're sitting pretty in 2nd place. Edited March 5, 20242 yr by DazBob .
