It's a team issue, and one that the coaching staff can see, but haven't managed to sort.

We don't have any clever players to play these awful tactics when the keeper plays it out short. We also look toothless up front again. Can't believe in such an important game we hand out a gift of a goal like that. Other teams know what we do and are ready for it. It's not even schoolboy stuff just plain stupid.

Thomasson took too long on the ball. Nothing to do with Coleman. He needs taking off because this ref will definately send him off at the next opportunity.

We haven't played that bad but we're not creating enough chances to allow teams a soft lead.

If it's not us gifting teams goals, it's us missing sitters, costing us points, so many passes/long balls/goal kicks/throws going out for throw ins too and even if it does get to Adeboyejo it's a lottery if it'll stick and we keep possession.

knew as soon as Thomason got a booking that it'll take away part of his game, maybe his head full of he can't foul anymore instead of fully concentrating, maybe his right footed goal gave him confidence to use it in that situation but it's no excuse.

We struggle against teams who press us high week in week out and still have no idea how to deal with it ! Better second half needed or our chances of automatic are disappearing.

3 men stood right on the edge of the box ready to press the short goal kick so they revert to a long ball out which is fair enough which then in turn ends up being a Barnsley throw in

League one players miscontrol it, that's one reason they play at this level.  So don't pass it to them in a position where miscontrolling it means giving them a virtual open goal.  IEs fault, he knows Tomo has awful close control yet persists with this tactic.

Fair enough, makes sense.

As for the game as a whole- we are predictable, and better sides have a method.

Who knows, it may work out second half, but it is becoming annoyingly regular.

We used to do this. It was one of our main strengths. Not sure why we don't anymore.

Yep we know what to expect high press but we carry on regardless passing to players facing there own goal . Barnsley aren’t has direct as before but they get the ball wide and in the channels why we are overplaying

Lack of aggression. I don't mean going wading into challenges, but if you're going to dominate teams playing our style then you have to be on the front front and giving them something to worry about. We look passive.
