OKish. I'm on a course of eye injections at Wolverhampton Eye Hospital, and my patner is still having treatment for her breast cancer, altough the main treatments are 15 months behind us.

  • If my lad said that to female ref I'd be fucking embarrassed and drag him off myself.

Oo eck, play off time. When you're too close emotionally to the action it's difficult to offer a reasoned opinion ( like you lot are ) so if I may here goes from a pie eating perspective. I'll try to

Train I'd get if we get there goes through Peterborough, so would probably prefer Oxford!

Yeah be shit that one😀

Question: given the two teams in the other semi, would folk rather play a final at say Villa Park rather than Wembley?

Peterborough/Oxford are unlikely to fill a half, and neither are we nor Barnsley, though we may come close.

Not like you to predict a poor turn out 🤣

Got it a bit wrong last time too!

Don't know how many would be sold- price would play a part maybe- but this has a bigger "prize" at the end of it.

I knew you wouldn’t let it go😀

different beast this short turnaround for tickets & travel compared to 6 weeks or so for pizza and also more expensive

i will go with previous finals as a marker

Time is a factor for sure, and as you say, so is cost.

Just have a feeling that if we were to get there, given our surprisingly decent crowds this season, that we would have a decent turnout.

Not going to take 40k like, hence my question about a half-way ground, but decent nonetheless.

When Oxford played Coventry in the equivalent pizza cup they took 30k like I said further up be like reading 95 outnumbered if we was to play them

Son of whisky nose is an annoying prick

If we get there, i can see us taking 25k -27k to Wembley

It was Wembley centenary last season and we were there.

As we had a lost season with covid, this is the adjusted centenary! 😁

Need to be there again.

Need to borrow that injured white horse now it's been patched up.

Fuck that

Villa only holds 42k

Some teams could fill it on their own

Big games deserve big venues, for the players and fans

Apparently they took 33k to the conference play final in 2010

It really is not, thought it was brilliant last year.

Never liked it myself. Terrible location overpriced and over rated.

"Baxter at the back

Aaron Collins in attack

We've got Paris, Sheehan and Tommo

On the bench we've got Cameron Jerome

Ole ole ole"

I was living in Oxford at the time and still live in Oxfordshire. They did indeed take that number. The vast majority have never been since and never went before. But it's a short train journey - direct from Oxford on Chiltern Trains. Easy peasy for them to take a big following.

I’m swithering, need to know what the kick off time at Wembley is asap so that I can secure flights. Prices going up daily…

Me too.

Think if we was to make it & 5.30ko I’d think football special type put on or at least a service running past 9pm, noticed Avanti put extra services on for Coventry the other week to ease congestion
