Just a bit of fun innit. Every set of fans would do the same.

It's been a long hard difficult season. If we can't celebrate a bit by getting to Wembley it's a poor do.

I'm with you Paul in that once the euphoria died down today I realised we actually did our best to fuck it up. I'm clinging on to maybe they just switched as though the job was done.

Think we all just need to get used to the fact that in any game we are liable to have at least a 20 minute spell where just turn in to massive head cases, lose our shit and implode.

....just need to make sure the rest of the outweighs the mad bit :D

We haven’t had a lot to celebrate over the years and think it was ace personally. I didn’t go on but the players must of thought ‘fuck me, something worth fighting for here’

Missed the game couldn’t find a pub in Lisbon with game on all watching PSG so had to use bbc sport text fecking talk about biting my nails 3-2 down with 20 minutes left the wife told me to calm down I was at boiling point bloody Santos wished he would stop pissing about and giving chances to the other teams if he didn’t he would be worth millions.
Anyway we have done it and it feels great and those people slagging people off for going on the pitch give your heads a wobble ffs !!!

People moaning about the pitch invasion  it was a bunch of folk enjoying Bolton winning, kids that may never have experienced the sheer emotion of winning a play off game. Getting rid of the pent up tension of the previous 90 minutes, especially last 20.

No one thinks we are automatically promoted but just fucking enjoy the moment.

I am sure some of the downer comments are the result of reading bitter comments from fans of other teams on social media. If we had not gone on the pitch we would be labelled soulless.

Spot on

I didnt go on the pitch

Was drained

When we went 3 2 down. Didnt want to watch anymore

The potential for extra time made the subs difficult but i thought particularly dempsey and jerome did great

Thanks Cheese for posting the extended highlights a great watch 👍

I felt same, only stayed to attempt to sing them home, was completely draining as we’ve seen us implode many times and could only think of those Wigan wankers laughing at our failure.

I was watching in a bar in Lanzarote. Landed an hour and a half earlier and due to a military operation I managed to get into a bar that was showing it with 10 mins to spare.

By the end of it the rest of the people in there just felt sorry for me. I’ve never wanted to turn my phone off and just walk off as much as for those last 20 minutes. I don’t know why but this season feels even more important than any other. Maybe it’s just being in the moment, maybe it’s the continuation of our progress, maybe it’s the idea that it’s the easiest L1 to get out of but I’m kicking every ball and can’t snap out of it. Every miss placed pass, every shit clearing header feels like we’ve just sealed our fate.

Get me to the summer and back on the golf course!

That pitch invasion was fantastic, wished i could have been there.  Anyway, will be at Wembley, by hook or by crook! Not cheap living 2,000 miles away!

It feels a lot like the cardiff pne year

West brom play offs

Convinced that team would break up if we failed, so much on the line

I think theres a fair few similarities this year

The big thing for me is that we really should not be in this position. Last year the play offs felt like a bonus free hit, this year more of a chance to make up for 'only' finishing third.

This is ace. The atmosphere is fucking brilliant.

Proud as punch.

Yon Mackem wasn’t half taken with the atmosphere! Genuinely still buzzing. Honestly never thought we were capable of such an atmosphere other than a one off like Atletico.

Not sure people who moan about a euphoric pitch invasion belong in football stadia.

Maybe lawn bowls or something equally pedestrian would be more up their street?

FFS, I bet they don't like last minute winners either because the noise spoils their walk across the car park.

After they went into the lead for the second time, I did not enjoy one single second of that match.

As for the atmosphere. One of the best this stadium has ever had. And the happy clappy things played their part. I was a critic when i heard about them. I thought it was tinpot and shite. The sort of thing Wigan would employ. I still think they are tinpot but they did create a noise and got more folk involved.

Good watch that 👌

Not really known what to say on this thread. I’ve liked loads of posts though (thanks @Zico 😊)

The celebrations, the videos, the youngsters, @BeeversLeftPeg brought a tear to my eye

I’ll be honest I’m still on edge 24 hours later! I’ve never been so drained by 90 mins of football!

One more game to go…

What a fucking club. 👏 Bring on Wembley.

Same here. I thought it was a shite idea when I first heard about it, but they definitely added something. The club played everything perfectly in terms of building the atmosphere. It was fucking tremendous. As soon as the players walked out, my kids both said it felt like being back at Wembley last year.

Yeah, that was the best thing about the clappers - involving all the youngsters. It just helped them all to add to a memorable night that they’ll never forget.

Having our own fans in the south is an absolute must next season.

Brilliant that, every shot of our fans on all 4 sides of the ground shows we played our part and the club proud.

I’ve had comments from neutrals who attended, who said it was one of the best atmosphere’s they had witnessed.
