That Spain performance was incredible. Started shakily but once they scored they were on top from that point on.

Absolutely killed the game with their relentless but clinical use of possession.

I can only dream that England could play that well in a major tournament. We need a Rodri type player so much. 
 

Shitting myself for tonight, if we win then amazing and anything can happen but I can’t see us getting the better of Spain. I think if we played Spain 10 times they’d win 9/10.

I can't see anything other than a limp exit for us tonight. Much as I admire Southgate for what he's achieved previously, he's too cautious to change anything or approach this game differently than the previous ones and I think it'll be our undoing.

So I’m firmly in the mindset that Spain are head and shoulders above anyone else this Euros, that isn’t debatable is it?

More debatable is: Could England with a different mindset, manager, tactics etc match them?

I’m not sure they could. 

So do we think England and Southgate, should they win tonight, getting to their first major final outside of England, be commended for their achievement at Euro 2024 if they are losing finalists? 

I’m controversially saying yes.

But it it won’t be a debate, cause we’re winning it! 🤣

Spain play the way they have done for a while. 

We sort of mimic them, but don't pass, move or press as effectively. 

Nevertheless, we have enough quality players to get at them. Just depends if we reach our potential. 

All of which is irrelevant unless we're through later.
