Need more down the left- we could shred them with some threat from there.

Foden can't get into it consistently, and one of the best goal scorers in the world isn't getting any service.

Dominated the ball, just frustrated that we're not further ahead.

Jude glides around the pitch like Zidane did.

Saka has been good- I reckon it might be worth swapping him and Foden occasionally. You'd fancy saka still ripping his fullback a new one, and maybe Foden would be in a favoured position. 

Great to take the lead but looked a bit fragile when Serbia started playing. Last 20 minutes the concentration was not great, with Trent in particular being sloppy with his passing - fortunately Serbia not good enough to take advantage. OK at HT I suppose but this is a long way from the dominance and discipline that Germany and Spain showed in their games so we need the next goal - ideally soon after HT.

Expect Southgate to give them a kicking about complacency during the break. Saka's done well on the right but nothing attack wise from the left so wondering if / when we might see Gordon or Eze given a run out.

 

Our build up play is far to slow, foe me. Up the tempo, more goals will come.
