Serbia deserved nothing from the game. Yes, they gave a good account of themselves and made things hard for us, but they created no chances of note whatsoever. We will certainly have to play much better than last night if we want to win this tournament, but, as always, there's a huge overreaction. We were not lucky in any way. We should've won the game 2-0, Quote

The routine one from a shot from outside of the area? Crosses that nobody got on the end of? If Serbia were Bolton we'd all be saying we deserved nothing from the game because we created nothing. Rubbish, they created a number of chances, as I said couple of dangerous crosses, mitrovic shaved the post, Pickford tip over the bar, there’s backing GS and some more going on here. We were gash! gonzo Posted June 17, 2024 Posted June 17, 2024 Pickford let's that in he would hung and drawn. Was a standard save from a pot shot. Quote

Site Supporter Steejay Posted June 17, 2024 Site Supporter Posted June 17, 2024 (edited) Kane header??? Hits the bar, bounces down and out, unfortunately. But not as close as a potshot and routine save? 🙄 Edited June 17, 2024 by Steejay Quote

frank_spencer Posted June 17, 2024 Posted June 17, 2024 Biggest disappointments last night were Kane (I'd say that was down to an excellent job done on him by their centre half) but do you take your talisman/all time top scorer off if he's not injured? Foden was ineffective especially with the right footed Trippier at LB we were very lopsided. TAA played some nice passes but hasn't enough practice playing cm to do it in an international tournament. Foden and Trent out and Gallagher/Mainoo and Eze (I'd have said Grealish but he's getting spannered in beefa with Wayne Lineker.) Quote

It's football, not engineering or medical science. All that matters is winning. It's amazing to me that you think you know better than the actual manager. After a win. Blows my mind. So you never thought against Oxford where things went wrong? Or did you just think I don't know more than the manager so don't have a clue? Quote
