i think Wrexham are similar.

The way their support has grown just amongst lads I used to work with is massive. Dads and lads photos every week going all over. All support used to follow prem teams  but are now fully involved.

Given that we don't know the true state of our own finances other than we are trading at a loss and gambling on promotion, I really think we are in no position to have a go at other clubs.

And I don't think any of us would have had a problem if in the days before FV stepped in to save us, the Hollywood boys had done it.

We weren't in a position to be choosy!

You're right about us trading at a loss, but I'm convinced that overall, FV and the investors are aware and comfortable with the situation. We don't know on what basis the Swiss folk have invested their money for example.

I remember looking at Wrexham's turnover and profit/loss in a wider article about them.

The author was particularly concerned about what could happen.

The jump in cash flows in and out was huge.

I think we as a club have more experience and capacity to cope with our debt.

I'd have LIVED Ryan & his mate to have adopted Bolton, so I'm relaxed about them. They do appear to be in it for the longish haul & it's boosted a flagging town.

But Ryan is spread very thinly & it won't continue.
