3 games in and I’m just tired of it already. Tired of looking so impotent. Tired of the same players meandering through games making the same mistakes. Tired of there being no accountability from any

  • Did no one else get injuries? It’s a bit of a myth this hard luck story. Needs to get promoted in top 2. Nope Needs to win the play off as we will never have a better chance. Nope. Need

Playing with 2 midfield neither can afford to have a slightly off game. Lambs ter slaughter against decent sides. Mad cunt

A lot of teams will lose at Charlton but the whole point is that we never win games against teams at the top (which it looks like Charlton will be ) There's a groundhog day feel about it all.

There is no way we have drilled this formation preseason, we didn't have mcatee then and it's been set up to accommodate him

Wasted a preseason if that is the case,

I do wonder if Evatt thinks GT and JS are better than they are, or he's expecting too much.

Wouldn't matter who's in that midfield 2- they'd struggle against bigger numbers.

Definitely expecting too much, and seemingly indifferent to the opposition knowing how to play against it.

Well there we go.

Beaten by a better team.

Only because we were so shit

Gifted then two chances and they took them

For all our possession and attempts, we look so blunt and void of ideas

2 in the middle and that combination of 3 forwards isn't working

But it probably will next week and he'll persist with it

Evatt go to fuck

We are going backwards with this cunt in charge

It's going to be toxic as fuck next Saturday

Not sure why you think that, it never is. There will be about 22k on, it will be quiet other than when we score, we'll beat Exeter and all will be well.

I think it's more fundamental than that.

Handing the initiative to our opponent before kick off.

Rather see 5-3-2 or 5-4-1 if he insists on five at the back. Especially away from home.

Well that was shocking

Bingo balls subs at HT, same as Wrexham game subs in 2nd half.

Woeful second half.

He really ain’t got a clue.

Don’t beat Exeter - get rid before the break.

Someone in the set up needs to have a serious word with him.

Unless it's Sharon telling him to clear his desk ... I don't think he'll listen. Having come so close to going up using a method that works (most of the time)... This season wasn't the one to start funking around with changing formations / tactics etc.

You don't buy a few players and change everything just to fit them in ... which is what he's done.

This is as poor as it gets, surely!  Why the fuck can we not just shoot when we get near their area? Fucking sickening! It going to be a long old season this!

It won’t be if the board act early

which they won’t

For the days of 44 fucking 2 . Defenders who defend a couple of wingers and a centre forward who can play back to goal and hold a ball up . Probably to simple for all these coaches who think there Pepe

He as 3 coaches plus himself and they still cannot see the problems?

We're all non-coaches remember! 😁

Think there is a hangover from last season too. Either that or no confidence in the system and possibly unable to play it.

Unless there are changes, Exeter will know how to set up.

A win far from guaranteed. We will need to start well and get ahead.

If there’s a goal which proves  we haven’t learnt our lesson is their first goal. Fuck off santos

We have played 3 league games and failed to score in 2 of them. The game we did score in, both goals were keeper errors. Doesn’t say much for our front 3.

In the same 3 league games we have conceded 3 goals, all from defensive mistakes - a slip and 2 suicidal passes.

Maybe we should start playing some midfielders because the defence and attack aren’t up to much.

Since we beat Oxford 5-0 we've played 15 games, won 5.  We're on a bad run and for all "we've strengthened", the midfield looks much weaker without our best attacker (Maghoma).  And as inconsistent as Ogbeta could be, he had a goal and an assist in him.  As hard as Schon works I'm just not seeing that in him yet, has he beaten a man yet?

Can’t say that on here. But it’s not lost on many that without a quality attacking midfielder we are piss poor.

I'm not going to start criticising the attack too much. Nor the defending per se.

The fuck ups, as we've seen before, come from unnecessary and poor quality passing.

I'm convinced that this is "forced" by a lack of options directly front. Similarly the front three are not getting the service/support.

Just because city, Brighton etc can manage that type of game, doesn't mean we can. It's division three, with players there for a reason l

Our midfield looks weaker not just because he's gone, but because we have taken the decision not to put anyone in his place.

At least give someone the chance to fill the gap!

So all 5 goals in our games are down to defensive/keeper errors!  That does sum up our games so far, there's been some decent football (1st halves today and last week) but its limp as anything up front.  Its a bit depressing to see goals round ups from L1 and L2 with long range shots flying in from all angles, and we struggle to get the keepers to work at all.

Evatt has been found out, press the defence and we’ll make a mistake, if we don’t, then we’re too slow to break and the opposition have loads of time to get back.

this group of players should walk this league but not with the current system which the manager is unwilling to change.

You can.

I don’t get this viewpoint, as if there’s a large majority who are unintelligent happy clappers, who won’t accept opinion or a negative post.

I’m about as positive as they come on here, but always with pragmatism, realism and an openness for different viewpoints and debate.

We are massively missing Maghomas influence from last season and this 3 forward line that hasn’t scored in 180 mins of football isn’t working.

Evatt has some big questions to address and needs to find answers quickly.

Not even worth being worked up about

Things are really bad when you can't be bothered having you're two penneth worth of managerial criticism! 🤣

Must admit, I wasnt overly surprised by that today- as soon as the teamsheet came out, I thought "oh fuck".
