Don't want it to be a ddom and gloom job, and plenty of time, but I just can't get my head around the set up.

3 strikers and 5 at the back.

Can't help thinking that 3 strikers requires 3 midfielders minimum, and 4 at the back.

If we're going just 2, then it has to be 2 from Tomo, Metete and Dempsey. A system wasted on Sheehan, for whom its totally unfair.

Already more signs of pig-headedness, as we've seen previously.

Early days I know but the players look like they don’t believe in the system to.

This new system is not going to work at this level 2 in midfield is a joke he as learnt nothing from last season if he doesn’t change it he’s gone before Xmas!

We are still so easy to play against, and slack shite passing at the back constantly hands the opposition the initiative. 

But worst of all for me is that we still have no one, not any single one of them pricks, who look like they give a shit!

There is no way we have drilled this formation preseason, we didn't have mcatee then and it's been set up to accommodate him

Wasted a preseason if that is the case, 

 

I do wonder if Evatt thinks GT and JS are better than they are, or he's expecting too much.

We were a touch fortunate at Orient, ok against Wrexham and now this.

He said in his pre-match interview that he expects Charlton to be top 6. I can see him saying the same again - a tough game against a top 6 team where we were unlucky with a couple of defensive errors. Which totally ignores the bizarre and ineffective set up.
