Evatt’s over coached the fuck out of them all, the new tweak has only made us more wide open in midfield. Bunch of centre backs fucking around with it still, somehow Johnston is our most threatening player going forward then when it breaks down he’s 70 yards out of position. Sheehan absolutely useless in this two man midfield, two 10’s in Collins/McAtee who are having to play off a striker who isn’t suited to being a lone frontman capable of holding up or linking up. 

Midfield too light weight on a heavy pitch away to a confident physical team. Needs Dempsey for Shon at half time not in the 67th minute when we could be 2 down and game over.

It’s like a 5 a side game they attack we attack, need to hold possession for longer, the rate of turnover of possession is ridiculous…. Extra midfielder required and get Vic up top to hold the ball up.

The way Oxford nullified our creativity in the final is now common knowledge. We are really struggling to find a plan B.  Despite having more depth this season. Nothing clicking atm

Have to agree the balance of the team is wrong it needs tweaking otherwise Evatt gonna be looking over his shoulder. 

Nothing as changed weak as piss in midfield Santos looks lost he as too change it and stop this 2 in midfield it ain’t working!

Ok so for the 4th game running we are getting bossed in midfield . Playing some really good stuff and Charlton are nothing so far . Gave them a goal . 
The 3 up top can work but it doesnt with 3 at the back and 2 wing backs which leaves 2 in midfield, one of which is sat in front of the back 3 leaving Tomo alone in the middle . he is having a great game but its madness . How can a 5-1-1-3 work ? 

JDC's games are numbered , and you have to pull one of the front 3 back to be a head of a diamond . 

Anyway game of 2 halves ! 

Matete on. Dion off for me at half time. Then look to get vic on at 60/65 for mcatee. 

 

Swap our wingback around as well for a mind fuck

 

 

The set up invites us to get the ball stolen from us in midfield & get quickly overrun at the back.... Its boring to watch and it doesn't work with 3 mavericks up front. Failing to see where Evatt is going with this if I'm honest.

I'm not Sheehans biggest fan per se, but he was 15 yards away from the ball, and 25 yards from the scorer, and less than a second it was in the net.

If Matate is stopping that, he should have been at the olympics.

 

Very poor 1st half.Santos fuck up again and as usual we run out of ideas.This needs changing at half time because this is as predictable as last season when we went behind

Is JDC playing? ive not seen him! Needs to get Tutu on, Cogley is so ineffective and weak. I agree we need another midfielder, theres so much space from Charltons backline to ours. And, stating the obvious we need to up our tempo.
