  • Think that's Ian's job

  • Seriously, he’s reached his level. He’s been outthought by lots of other coaches from teams with a fraction of our budget. Can’t really add to that, it’s a bit basic, Sharon?

As has been mentioned above. Older ones like me remember the Phil Neal days. I loved Phil Neal. He got us out of a world of shit. Took us from the depths of despair to something more respectable. But

Evatts gone I reckon. Soon as whilst went he went off, wasn't even watching the match

Relegation battle

Seriously where are the usuals defending this clown?

After Tuesday I thought we might have sorted some stuff out.

Were they day dreaming of Arsenal, or are they still in Oxford mode- just go out overconfident and expect it just ton happen.

Or, are they simply not playing for the manager?

Can't go on. Dog shit.

Hard to know what to say, really. Leave aside the basket case of the Hill and Lennon eras, that has to be our worst home performance for a decade or more. Chronic lack of responsibility across the board. Need a big turnaround against Huddersfield and Reading or it’s going to get very ugly, very quickly.

Some good aways in L2

One takeaway from today is that Schon is a bit shit and Tutu is much better, so start him next time

No reason not to start Matete here on in

Not bothered if he drops Sheehan or Dempsey to accommodate him

No idea who we play up top

anyone thought that he might want to be sacked for the COMP??

That's appalling.

It's a result and performance that changes people's minds.

I'm starting to have a 1991/2/Phil Neal feeling.

Transfer window has just shut but I don't think that today's performance can be put down to "settling in". I think we improved slightly after the subs and it was more energetic and a lot quicker, but it just didn't quite click and although we created some chances, better understanding and passing could have created a lot more from the decent positions we got into.

I reckon we were mugged in the transfer window. Schon is not a WB and he cost a fortune - he's a LB out of position. McAtee has shown nothing. Forino is athletic but not skilled. Tutu at least works hard and he and Matete are decent - but Matete isn't our player.

I genuinely can't see a valid excuse that Evatt can make for this performance.

And some of the players need to give their heads a wobble - whenever they had their egos bruised, they were giving away fouls that only helped Exeter slow the tempo down and were picking up pointless bookings for petulance.

Promotion with performances like that is an absolute joke.

I think the players are just programmed by IE to play one way and if it isn’t working they just keep doing it anyway. Yet again all Evatt’s changes were like for like do is it any surprise the performance stays the same. I’ve been behind IE so far but I’m afraid today was an eye opener for me. 😫

I’ve never been one for knee jerk reactions regarding our managers. I can’t remember ever posting that a BWFC boss should be potted - although I got quite close with that cunt Megson.
However, this mon has got to go. I can’t see him turning it round.

Yes and yes, but Demps starts for me as he works his nads off and contributes to both attack and midfield.

This is only going in one direction he's got to go.Next home game if he's still here the fans will turn when the 1st mistake is made, that is going to put players on edge.Get him potted he's had time and money to sort this out and failed miserably

They  wont come on here tonight! And 50 per cent wanted him to  stay after Oxford! Really dont understand why Sharron give him all that money to spunk away?

Abject. This guy is out of his league by a million miles. If it's sooner or later he will go. And to think he was able / had the arrogance to say HE considered his position after Wembley. Who TF do you think you are Evatt? You're at BWFC you arrogant/ deluded cnut. Now FO

If IE was to leave, who realistically would come in? And would they do a better job? Ian has at least tried to sort things out he's not above changing, maybe he goes back to the old formation after this?

To be honest lusty I’m not sure it matters who plays. This system is so ineffective that it turns good players into bad ones and nobody can deny that we do have some good players. I think the blame here now has to lie squarely on the manager and coaching staff. Sharon certainly has some thinking to do and will I’m sure be under pressure herself.

On later to slate us all for suggesting IE needs sacking
