As has been mentioned above. Older ones like me remember the Phil Neal days. I loved Phil Neal. He got us out of a world of shit. Took us from the depths of despair to something more respectable. But

For all the talk of us playing "proper footy" ... most of the games are boring. I'd rather lose an end to end donger 0-2 than that drudge we got today.

Completely agree, it's no more entertaining than other managers we've had. Only Evatt tells us it is??

Is like Allardyce in reverse, then we played much better football than we were perceived to.

It was a point made earlier but there were 22,000 there today and attendances like that surely won't continue if we keep putting in these kind of performances

Sat with his head in his hands not even watching the match. Guessing he's not fallen on his sword here, which makes his attitude today even worse.

He's claiming it's so he doesn't allow his frustrations to boil over

We've had a good few of these 'family days' now. It's a great initiative. But have we ever won one .

Your listing of virtually the entire squad (apart from Schon?) and saying you wouldn't be disappointed if they started, well all of them played apart from Arfield, and it didn't make any difference who was on the pitch when.  We weren't scoring and we were bringing 11 back at corners without marking anyone to maximise Exeter's chances of scoring.  It feels like it doesn't matter who IE picks where, this team doesn't have goals in it currently.

Well yes. How can I disagree or argue, you are just stating an after match fact, I was making a pre match prediction. 2 completely different posts!

The only factual thing I will pull you up on was I had Schon on the bench I didn’t ignore/forget him

For all the talk of systems, it isn’t the system giving the ball away with a 5 yard pass, shooting in to row Z or forever NOT BEATING THE FIRST FUCKING MAN AT A CORNER

And not even getting it on the pitch on one occasion by Dempsey

Some serious thinking needs to be happening, this can't carry on.

I've said on record I wouldn't have lost a seconds sleep had he gone and the last thing anyone needs is a toxic environment and division in the stands.

Some can't wait for it to go belly up. Hence posters calling out previous defenders of Evatt the moment the shit hits the fan.

If we are heading towards a Freedman type environment with a stubborn manager and horrendous match going environment then end it now for me.

Correct, we dont want that shit again, but, unfortunately, that the way its going to go unless something changes. What that change is only time will tell. I cant even remember the last time we failed to score in three league games on the bounce?

When it was all going wrong, Colin Todd used to look at his shoes, so much at times you wondered if the toes were curling upwards

He's quit,

Gave up mid match, he was down that tunnel the before the refs whilst had finished echoing.

My brother said that. Watched from the bench essentially second half then fucked off at full time.

He was either very angry, or completely fed up. Or both.

Terrible result.

Most of the team were anonymous.

So was our manager. When he should have been on the touch line shouting instructions to try and get us back into the game he vanished.

What a bizarre thing to do.

Just no idea what will change.

He will die on his sword make no mistake.

Entering the depths of winter with a half empty toxic ground is making me feel ill.

I'll go but I'm not having the kids about shit like that.

Oh GTF Evatt. Heard it a million times now. It's almost as though you (again) had nothing to do with the shitshow. Really is time to go now cock. Deep down everyone knows it

Quote "It was below our level, below our standards,” he said. “We lack rhythm at the moment, we look tired, fatigued."

Can anyone tell me what his standards are? For me we looked no different than our last 30 odd games I think the tiredness is mental fatigue thinking about what role they have to play in what system

The beautiful thing about that today was how we shared it around.

About 4 of the fuckers couldn’t manage it and Dempsey barely reached the fucking box.

Why the fuck is Dempsey taking corners?!?!

Hes one of our best in the air. Hes hardly known for his crossing. And yet he’s taking frigging corners?!

£1 free bet on a Collins hat trick. Today’s the day his season starts

Well we've still never lost a home league game that he's started!

We would probably have lost anyway, but still a bizarre decision IMO to rest our best striker and I'm not being wise after the event.  If McAtee has come in to replace Collins, that's only going to weaken us for me.  Given that Charles doesn't seem to have a goal in him at home, its a head scratcher for Collins to be 4th choice striker today.

And as for Vic, good to see he's improved this season 😕

Evatt, santos Charles etc have reached their limit, if we need to move on changes are needed

Has Sharon booked his taxi yet? Was willing to give him 8-10 games. But something needs to change very quickly.

hmmm

Set piece goals still count (we're certainly shit at scoring from corners) and Exeter had two chances in the second half which were as good as any we created.

The better team won.

it's turned toxic far quicker than i thought it would

It could have been Baxter taking it and its still no excuse putting it behind for a goal kick.  The quality of our set piece delivery absolutely beggared belief today, I genuinely don't get how we so poor at just delivering a ball into the box, you'll see better in parks football.
