Another false dawn. I so wanted it to be different and we’d put this big game thing to bed, but it’s same old same old. Win those that we should, start to look like things are on the up, then absolutely crumble under any kind of pressure.

We’ve too many of these games this season to keep with him. We need someone that can deal with a big occasion, and he can’t. He should have gone after Oxford, the fact that we’re not too far out of it means that the season isn’t wasted yet, but we need a new manager to make something out of it.

We can’t cope when teams close us down. If only we had a plan B where we could play it long.

You summed it up well there. I don't think there will be "any excuses", as you say we're fresh and injuries won't wash. 

But we'll stumble on by winning another game maybe early December, and the cycle continues till the next "big" game.

2. Teams as good as ours or better, actually try to force us to make those mistakes, this works because we have such a weak middle we can't impose ourselves on the game, disrupt their play or effectively make counter attacks, our wing backs get pinned back and thus we have little attacking threat.

When you combine these together you end up losing about 10/15 games a season and drawing about the same number."
