That was terrible. Normally even in defeat I can find one or two positive moments in a game or a player having a decent performance. Not today though. Absolute fucking shit.

But strolling around knowing that dialling in a performance will get him sacked is is a cunts trick. A new manager with real quality will also know this and not be impressed so they stand to shoot themselves in the foot.

Its a fucking mess and a change is needed, that much is obvious.

Know what you're saying but their lack of fight, passion, whatever is down to their DNA as players. They'll think they're applying themselves and putting the effort in they're used to making, the issue is they're all of the same profile and mentality, all signed on the basis of the same data driven attributes.

That doesn't make for a winning team and all the data in the world won't tell you how big a lad's bollocks are. We have a dozen or more with bollocks the size of peanuts

Not sure you can say it's a phoned in performance to spite the manager just a team full of bottle less softies.

Not trying to defend Evatt, but the players were an absolute disgrace today, last 15 mins you'd have though we were winning at a canter, not them.Worst performance of the season for me.

Without going all LinkedIn. Evatt isn’t the sort of bloke that takes this on his shoulders and takes blame. He will blame downwards and some will be right and some wrong. 

Reality though is that he’s not up to management and he’s a leader in name only.

To be honest there have been to many 'worst performance of the season',  already

Imagine our forebears seeing in to the future and reading scorelines like today's coming to pass. They'd think it was a sick joke. This is what has been served up in recent years.

Bolton 0 Wigan 4; Bolton 0 Wigan 4; Bolton 0 Accrington 1, Stockport 5 Bolton 3; Stockport 5 Bolton 0; Blackpool 4 Bolton 1. 

... to which from the very slightly more distant past you can add: Bolton 1 Rochdale 3, Accrington 7 Bolton 1; Wigan 5 Bolton 2. 

We get saccharine words about understanding what derbies mean to fans and how we need to rectify our poor record in them. Actions speak louder than words. They are a million miles away from understanding.

Just had my Dad on the phone, 81 years old and seen a lot more than me: "Today has to be as poor a result as there's been in the club's whole history".   

We can't go on like this. "It's only one game" some will say - but the results in these games sum up eloquently what is wrong at the club and why we can't get out of League 1. No guts, no willingness to scrap and battle, no nous.
