Illness in players during the week, and 4 of the starters needing IV electrolytes. 

Well, if they were that ill, or still a bit knacked, then why play them?

Not seen any of todays game so can’t really comment,  I’m sure we will all agree there’s the odd games like this, it happens to the biggest of teams. We have been on a decent run so you could say it was always going to happen.  All those wanting Evatt to be sacked who do you want to replace him? I still believe he’s the best man for the job .

All the post match comms as muddled and messy as the match itself. If there was the sickness / stomach flu / shits going round (there has been a lot of it about the area in fairness) why not put it out there in the week and give it the line 'we're struggling but we'll put a side out to do it's best'? A 0-5 would still have been unacceptable but a narrower defeat might have been tolerated.

I nearly liked this. But I thought that would be a bit Zoggish.

So I’ll quote it instead and say this is almost like the worst purgatory. We have our hopes raised again with wins against Blackpool, Cambridge and Bristol then lose to Wigan! 😩

We can’t keep going through this cycle. I don’t think it was rose tinted spectacles wanting Evatt to turn this around and thinking he might do.

What case? It doesn't matter if we know who we want to replace him or not, we are not making that decision. How many times has a manager been selected on fans decision? 

What is clear is the same issues persist, he has tried to change it but we still come up short in 'big' games and it is becoming embarrassing. Something needs to give, and he has run out of chances.
