Quoting myself here But after some digging, if you combine the amount of shots on target we had in our games against Rotherham, Wigan, Birmingham, Huddersfield, Stockport and also Oxford at Wembl

I said a month or two back McAtee was a fraud. Does a load of arm waving and pointing, as though he's from a higher level and the others need the benefit of his advice, while doing absolutely fuck all

He says he asks the players to come out and show our DNA and what we are about and that's what we did... What playing like shite, having 1 shot on target against an incredibly poor side that had

I'm no fan of this competition as I may have mentioned, but its hard to escape the feeling that whoever wins on Tuesday is playing Birmingham in front of 80k at Wembley.

Its upto each fan if they want to be arsed with everything that brings and whether it effects league results, it would be interesting to know how SS feels about it.

FWIW given that we are a long way from having a "first XI" I don't see any point at all resting players for Saturday should we really want to get to Wembley.  If we don't care and are just using Wrexham to give minutes to more of the squad, that's a different story.

If we lose on Tuesday there's big pay day at Wembley, and we can still get beaten at Shrewsbury (they've recently beaten Brum, Wrexham and Rotherham), whether we rest players or not.

Id use the momentum from yesterday and be going for the win.

Id not have tutu anywhere near this game

Sheehan can have a rest too

Beyond that, i dont care who he plays

We don't have many we can play

Murphy, Morley, and Randall are cup-tied

Schon's suspended

Santos, Collins, and CMG presumably still injured

It doesn't leave a lot to pick from

Baxter

Dacres Cogley

Jones

Toal

Forrester

Johnston

Thomasson

Matete

Lolos

Adebyejo

McAtee

Good enough to win it but not a lot on the bench. Southwood , Sheehan, Tutu and Matheson plus some more kids.

Does anyone really want to get to the final of this ? Presumably v Birmingham and they bring 50k to our 25k ? Just extra games we do not need.

EFL would love Brum v Wrexham final.

But it is our leftovers v their leftovers, assume neither team will be at full strength.

2 seasons ago I was giddy as fuck when we got to Wembley, pissed off could not get tickets for the semi. Ended up the final a perfect day out. This time round for me does not have the same feel. If we got to final and played Bradford trains will be interesting from over here !

I am amazed we have sold out for the game this week, which show I am out of touch, I will watch it on TV but seems like a bit of a non event in many ways.

Prob because we've had 2 Wembley trips in the last 2 seasons, but for a club like ours in it's current state we shouldn't be passing up these opportunities to win a trophy at Wembley

New ground for most and the league game is also a sellout, so many will just be ticking it off

400? AST means that theres every chance we will have some empty seats

youre not going to use this 10er ticket as a return

I know everyone’s assuming it’s a done deal for Birmingham and in all reality it probably should be but Bradford are no mugs, especially with Sarce leading them on. We’ve never really replaced him here and it just wouldn’t surprise me at all if he pushed them on and they turned Brum over and put a big spike in the Hollywood final Sky obviously want.

We didn't have a game this weekend so it wouldn't surprise me if we play a full strength team.

I hope we don't and we probably won't but then again the last time the squad had a free weekend we absolutely stunk the place out in our next game and lost to Shrewsbury. So that may have some influence.

Only for the money, I believe we got the best part of a million altogether when we won it.

Otherwise it's a distraction from our push for the play offs, a risk of injuries & could take away a lot of our support from a more important play off final.....loads wouldn't go to Wembley twice.

For me, i won't go to any games in a competition that includes u21 teams !!

Did you not go to the Plymouth final?

I’d survive if we lost this. No appetite for it whatsoever.

No, i've been to every one of our games at Wembley or Cardiff ( i preferred Cardiff  ! ) in living memory apart from that one.

I know everyone had a great day & i am really pleased that it seemed to hook a lot of kids into being Wanderers' fans but for me it would be pointless going to a ground I don't like much for a game i'm not interested in........but if we get to the play off final again, if necessary i'd walk it to make certain I was there.

Ouch. I'd be absolutely gutted if I'd missed that game. Fair play to you though for sticking to your principles. It is a bit of a tinpot competition, but that final meant so much more.

Have you been to the "new" Wembley for any other reasons?

When you say we've never really replaced Sarcevic, do you mean we've never had another mard arse who caused issues behind the scenes?

Or do you mean in terms of quality?
