So was Richardson apparently

judging by the number of out of work managers that were there no wonder there was 18k on

you wait and see, only on a caretaker type basis though. I guess if he performs well, then a longer contract can be offered

I know, I doubt it's a coincidence, and we know he's close to the Swiss consortium as well. I think he's just what we need right now, obviously not long term, but he'd steady the ship and probably get us in the play offs, and who knows what would happen after that. At least it'd give us time to find the right person to start next season with (if he doesn't work out)

Lennon did OK until he realised the club was skint and they sold players without his approval..

Spent more time on the piss and shagging than in the training ground making the players stay in a hotel for home games so he could get is end away wasn’t popular with the players . Then is assistant making threats got exposed in the Sunday papers .

Was chuffed when Lennon arrived, when his assistant left it seemed to coincide with him struggling.

Yep soon as Mjalby went it turned to shit. The financial issues only began to appear when the results were already on the slide

I know Sam threw out that comment last week, but how may managers would want to be answering to a director of football?

I doubt BSA would, so I simply can't see it.

More chance of him coming on a temporary basis, maybe until the end of the season. Even then I very much doubt it.

Perhaps he might help/advise on recruiting a new manager?

Close that I think jacket. If Sharon’s considering a long drawn out application/interview process that will take weeks so it wouldn’t surprise me to see Sam come in to help out for that period, possibly just a month until the new guys in. That wouldn’t cost much and given despite everything our top six hopes are still very possible I don’t think Sharon would want a void. Hopefully she’s already got a name in mind and there are no delays but if not I’d expect to see Sam in before the weekend.

Of them all I wanted Lennon to be ‘the one’.

But I don’t think we should be going back to Lennon or Sam.

Schumacher would do for me.
