It might not be in isolation, but when you consider our overall record in these games over a longer period of time… it absolutely is.

Some are good enough, some have the balls, but as a collective we are found wanting in both departments, and that’s on them.

He doesn't though, and hasn't always done so.

Of course he has to be given the summer to sort out the squad to his liking, but we've also seen both him and Darby manage the team differently and get results.

Just seen quite a bit of tinkering recently, which may not be helping.

You are over thinking ....The only player who went on that football field this last 7 days and bust a gut was Josh Sheehan why because he wore the red of Wales....No player is a Bolton fan and i doubt they ever think about the opposition

Reading through the after match coments. Some are blaming the defence, others the midfield and some the lack of goal scoring from the fowards. General opinion is the players aren't good enough. Well who are they. I think over the last 3 years they have all proved good enough. Its just a collective mental weakness and probably a lack of physicality.

That ex premier league ref was as bad as any we have had this season, if he aint good enough for the prem what makes them think he’s suitable for league one.

Just seen the red card. Do not think it gets overturned tbh.

 

But how are we at the end of March and we get a ref who has reffed 1 game all season ? Whatever the rights and wrongs of the red he only gave because their players shouted for it. Which is a complete joke.

If they can’t handle the mentality and are not physically strong enough like you said there not good enough  and it’s something that can’t be put right it’s not a quick fix otherwise it would of happened.
They have had enough chances and now need fucking off . 
Over the 3 years they are good enough if your right why are we are still league one ?

Players trying 100%...Are they good enough to get us promoted i think not.....Not having they dont care any less than the Blackpool players.....Unlucky today 

I have accepted the squad is not very good for the outlay that we have shelled out

We have said on here many times that we lack a midfield bastard.

But maybe the biggest ‘miss’ is a real leader/captain on the pitch and behind the scenes.

He shat out of giving that Blackpool player a second yellow card  a couple of times

Felt sorry for Morley he was the only one in that midfield at times having to be lumbered with Thomason and Sheehan.

We started the 2nd half like we started the 1st, I expected them to come out and carry on with the intensity we had at the end of the 1st half but no, we go back to passing it about slowly and played into blackpools hands.

It's not illegal to swap Tutu and Schon in the game if it's not working too. Tutu was in Offiah's pocket from minute one

Just back,  we were the better team but mostly toothless while B/pool were poor but looked dangerous & the result felt almost inevitable.

Small plusses, Cogley & Morley played well ( but Morley has no chance of that red being overturned) & Randall had some nice touches when he came on.

& it was cold, wet & windy & the police made it hard work afterwards.....not my best ever day out !!

I'd have taken Tutu off much sooner, it's strange how ineffective he is at away games where you'd think he'd have more space to run into, but today, that full back was very good , too good for Division 1.

I'm trying to think unemotionally, which is difficult considering the circumstances and the fact we are a laughing stock to all of our smaller neighbours, who are like little kids poking a big old tired dog with sticks.

And I really don't want to sound like a Evatt, but in today's game and all of the 3 losses, we haven't played badly, we've actually been the team on top and it's come down to moments. I don't even buy the whole argument that the players aren't trying or aren't fighting. I think there's a more complex mentality issue.

We are awful defensively, we are so easy to concede such soft goals. I also think having a defence that has constantly changed, one defender gets injured, one comes in, one gets injured, another comes in. The lack of a consistent back 4 or 5 definitely doesn't help. We are even changing the keepers.

I'm kinda seeing the remainder of the season as an experiment that Schuey is taking notice of and will give us next season with a new squad a real promotion push.
