Dunno I wanted to eat my pie!

BWTID saying it was a racist comment.

It would seem to have prompted a message over the tannoy just before kick off about there being no place for racism

Impressed against us last season, can't remember who (Blackpool?)

Glad he's up a division this year.

Yes Blackpool was on loan played well against us at there place will be amiss for pool this season

We might end up losing a few more players on the back of this performance, we look totally unbothered by Championship Preston.

This ref is a joke

Wingers breaking with pace, very exciting. Goalie great feet. Conway, impressive. Macatee, lighter, fitter, not really much better.

Striker would be nice?......

Another comfortable performance, win, clean sheet against quality opposition ... been the most impressive pre-season I can remember.

I always think back to 96/97 being so bad that any good pre season worries me😂

Spot on though.

McAtee has certainly upped his work rate since last season and in the absence of a striker did well IMO. Randall less so.

Rode our luck with the Smith sitter in the first half and the excellent TSL save in the second, but overall that was a very satisfying watch.

Not sure what Challinor will make of that other than to double up on our wide boys.

Totally stoked for the start of the season now.

Definitely. This wing play gets you off your seat. Proper exciting season ahead I hope

Looked comfortable and a threat last 15 mins.

Conway looks the business and the two lads out wide are gonna cause chaos. I’d be looking at tutu as one of the replacements though as opposed to Schon or CMG.

If we can get a striker in before Sunday, Stockport won’t know what’s hit them

I remember the old "poor pre-season, good season" rationale back in the 80s.

In truth, it was blind optimism after poor pre-seasons (followed by equally poor seasons).

Had a tough time first half, which makes his second half performance all the more impressive.

I hope we can keep Gale and ACD fit. They'll scare the shit out of a good few if we can. Pace like that creates real complications for opposition sides even before a ball is kicked.  You have to find ways of compensating for it if you can't match it and that should create gaps elsewhere for us to exploit.

If I were SS now I'd be finding ways to keep their feet firmly on the ground. Good pre-season results provide encouragement for fans but count for nowt. Go and sort out Stockport next Sunday and we really can start talking.
