Not good enough getting sick of these wingers going for a goal instead of crossing it .

They come inside because they are on the wrong side. Then there's fuck all on.

Get them on the right sides ffs and get some balls in

Interesting Lincoln commentary - one of the coaches saying that they discussed  game management this morning and planned to score first and waste every second they could after that including Hamer going to the other side of pitch to take throw ins.

They've certainly done all of that to a tee. It's been like any one of a couple of dozen home games under Evatt, ship an early goal and endure 80 odd minutes of shithousery, allowed by another piss weak ref.

We've changed a lot of personnel, changed the approach but are still having the same issues against the same types of teams.

All Dubbery and Cissoko seem to do is to try and score wondergoals from 25 yards, they never cross and almost never work it in or make the short pass into the box.

Cussoko really isn't all that.

Hard to play against 11 and a ref but we've hardly got any on target.

This no10 isn't working for us. If your no10 can't run and put the fear of God in their centre backs it's not going to work.

They seem more physical and stronger than us..again. Also expecting these referees to be anything more than useless is naïve and constantly moaning about them every week, either on here or by the commentary team is getting boring and a poor excuse for us not being street wise enough for this league.

We're a so much better team than last year but for some reason, it's just not clicking. Can't believe it's taken all summer and the first month of the season and still not found a proven goalscorer.

Considering how weak SS thought we were last season and talked about the aim was for us to be strong, physical and quick we look every bit as lightweight as at any point last season.

They are collectively a huge side mind, and, as many do in L1, do the simple things well and put themselves about

Same old story mate.

Too big, too fast, too strong.

Lucky to still be in it tbh.

Let's hope for a better second half

This is back to the bad days under IE if not worse I hope SS can turn it around he has no excuses they are his players and his tactics

If Morais was playing in this set up and a left footer on the left, Burstow or Dalby would get 20. We haven't got anywhere near the dead ball line in 47 minutes.

L1 isn't as much of a school of science as a lot might like to make out. Do your defending, don't fuck about, win your duels, get it down the line and smash it in the box. Add a few long throws for extra spice in the recipe.

You concede an early goal you get them doubling up on the wingers forcing them inside. Anyone who thinks it's as simple as switching them is kidding themselves.

It's too slow and too passive. They aren't even having to work hard defensively. We haven't put one decent cross in. They've put about 5/6. They pile bodies in the box. We have burstow and Randall.

We need to figure out a way to get more shots. I'm not sure lumping the ball in against these will work. They've got about 8 players all 6 ft 2.

Well... I wouldn't have taken both centre mids off.

Erhahon on a yellow I think had to come off and I wonder if that knock Simon’s took is the reason he’s gone off?

Well maybe at least try?

Stretch the pitch, and instinctively they will go on the outside a bit more.

Compresses the game and can make it easier to defend.

They're also more likely to play an early cross, rather than cut back and slow the move down.

Again, 11 shots so far, 2 on target and not looked like scoring.

We've only conceded 5 shots but 3 on target and a goal.

Really really worrying trend that, issues at both ends and neither look like easy fixes.
