MOTM was a tie between Morley and ACD for me, with some other good performances but collectively we’ve still not cracked the scoring thing. Three today, but could and perhaps should have been a lot more.

I know it seems churlish to be a bit dissatisfied with a 3-0 win but we should have had double that. We just don’t have that killer instinct and sorry but Cissoko is utter garbage.

Duberry is fun asf to watch

Genuine question here: Did Brazil '70 play like Brazil '70 every match?

6 league games unbeaten; not to be sniffed at.

In ‘70 they did. Not sure how relevant that is TBF, that being 55 years ago, that team being superb at creating and finishing and I don’t recall them ever playing against 10/9 men.

Otherwise you’re spot on.

You will never be satisfied, and it's not churlishness. It's delusion. You revel in losses, and wins are never good enough.

Well if you can’t see what’s in front of you don’t blame me. Top teams take opportunities when they’re there and today we missed one to boost the GD, fact.

Just stick to the Bolton News like-minded morons.

Imagine watching your team win 3-0, and moaning that it's not good enough. Absolutely baffling. 🤦‍♂️

Be worried if we didn't create chances, we did, hit the post, forced saves and had a lot of the ball, we could have gone 1-0 down early, but we were the better team with 11v11 and secured the win v 10 when they are gonna to have to defend a lot, we had some nice passing moments that led to players like Cissoko late on getting space in the box but the final ball wasn't great, but still we created good chances, it's not like we struggled.

There were some good performances though. Morley was excellent, Simons was good, wingers were very good, Burstow worked hard and Randall improved considerably after a dodgy start but somehow we only managed 1 shot on target before Browne was sent off and 8 in the whole game - and everyone including Schumacher knows we have to improve that aspect of our game.

Maybe so, though a higher proportion of those on target went in, which is better.

Clean sheet and three in the onion bag from 8 on target will do us fine every game. 👌

Not everyone lusty, some on here just can’t accept what’s obviously still missing. There were some great performances today and we were unlucky at times but we really should have scored more and that’s still a concern for me.

Just back and quite happy with that

Thought we started off slowly but gradually got into the game

The 1st sending off was a fucking leg breaker luckily Conway I think saw it coming and jumped to get out the way

2nd goal was a cracking move

A deserved 3 points

M.O.M hard to say as don't think anyone stood out and nobody was shit but if pressed probably give it Morley

Think old age is finally catching up.

Enjoyed that today. My big lads last game before firing off to Newcastle uni. A poignant moment after 15 years or coming n goin at the reebok one way or tother together 😪

People will see the two reds and attribute that to the win, but I thought we where excellent and deserved our lead up to them.

Still reckon we have another gear. Hopefully we enter that v them lot 2 weeks today.

Beers all round

Win was all that mattered today,

I enjoyed that. There are no stand out top teams this year, so far. Maybe we are better than we thinks we are? Excellent strength in depth and play with a higher tempo these days.

On paper we had a tough start to the season but no one has bossed us. Defensively it will be a challenge if a team did have a go at us, but that's not happened yet?

Both wingers superb today, Simons better 2nd half. Morley Excellent.

Randall catches the eye because of work rate and the positions he gets in, but he rarely looks comfortable with the ball when it matters.

Conway Defensively over commits but has the pace and strength to recover, an exciting prospect indeed.

Ref not playing advantage was a shocker and I think he knew it.
