Decent first half, shit second half. Draw probably the right result in the end.

a game to forget. Shit atmosphere too. From both sets of fans

It was a very average, incident-free 0-0 in L1.  I've seen a few of them and I'm yet to come across one with a decent atmosphere, here or anywhere else.

Enjoyable for a nil niller that. We defo need better striker reinforcements. Burstow is off it at the moment and Dalby is honking

By far the better team over the 90 mins , couldve and shouldve won it . Bradford huffed and puffed and tested the keeper once . Nothing to fear in this league other than teams playing for a draw and trying to knick it .

our quality will shine thru over the season .

Beers and chip buttys in order for a good evening .

Fantastic save at the end to save a point, but we should have taken our chances first half so frustrating really.

Honestly thought fat Toni or that ex Wigan cunt was going to nick one at the end.
Burstow poor today and thought the subs flattened us.

Not much between a lot of teams in this league a win can make lot of difference in your position

Draw today fair result lots of huffing and puffing but no real clear chance for either side all a bit rushed

Just back, thought 1st half we were the better side and should have been in front.2nd half was pretty even.Considering they had 5000 fans all sat together I thought they were very quiet, shite in fact.Anyway the way the game was going I was fearing they were going snatch a scabby goal but in all honesty a draw was probably a fair result

Not to disgruntled. Was a good game of division 3 football.

Blood and thunder at times. Not much composure in the final 3rd but we controlled the game in large parts.

Defended like fucking warriors and created loads. Nothing to be concerned about, Burstow just had an off day.

They'll be more impressed with us than we are of them.

Well summed up, I thought it was a good arm wrestle. We should have won it last 15 mins of first half. Their HT subs improved them a lot, they were more of a handful as the game wore on.

A few of ours got a bit drawn into the atmosphere and hectic pace of the game and rushed things, especially in and around their box.

Sometimes the defenders deserve credit, theirs did well and Toal & Johnston were immense.

Owd Teddy S-L put in a few saves today.

Their support reminded me of Huddersfields last year. Big turnout and the odd sporadic loud noise but pretty poor on the whole. I'd like to think our lot would be bouncing for 90 minutes in similar circumstances.

Last couple of games he's put the 'doesn't save much' tag well to bed, not had loads to do in either but when called upon has responded very well.

Burstow's done a couple of nice assists recently v Hudds and Vale but he's been underwhelming generally for a few games now.  Lacks pace.  Showed enough during his purple patch to know what he can offer, but currently not showing it and his 2nd half shot today was very poor.  But its hard to make a case for Dalby and Forss on current form.  Bottom line is we don't currently have a go-to striker that's going to dig one out in a game like today.

Numb as a piss stone. Hopefully cut our losses in January.

Overly harsh mate . Ill put it down to just general disappointment .

Was strange. Played last season’s midfield and got a last season’s type of midfield performance.

Too deep, sideways and backwards as the first option, huge gap to the front leaving the centre forward isolated and slow to get forward in support. Morley has fuck all engine.

Felt a proper backward step.

Imagine spending all week moaning about it. Fucking losers.

Made no difference.

It wasn't easy for him today, got next to no service, too many rushed lumps up to him and often beyond, took plenty of hits and scrapped away till he'd run his race. He'll have better days again.

We are where we are. Done ok so far in a very difficult league and certainly improved defensively on our early season, but we’ve been over reliant on ACD scoring great goals which he can’t be expected to do every week - hence my disappointment with the two excellent chances he fluffed today.
Unfortunately we’ve signed Dalby and Randall and they’re the wrong type of player for us ATM so I’m not sure how much wriggle room we have in January when half the league look like they’re in with a shout of promotion and will be looking to improve their squads for the run in.
Not sure what the answer is, but we’re not in a bad place at this point in time given how brutal the competition is this time around.

Wondering if boggy winter pitches will scupper our challenge - or bring players like Dalby to the fore?

Game of two halves, should’ve been out of sight first half, second half the subs changed the game in their favour and struggled to get control back.

I thought starting with Morley was a strange one and number of below par performances. Conway, tutu, Burstow all poor today.

Decent enough game for a 0-0.

First half we were by far the better team and they couldn't have had any complaints if we went in 2 or 3 up at halftime.

Second half they improved a lot and the game could've gone either way.

Wow

 that’s insane

Shows the need for a bit of perspective. Difference is that this time last season we didn’t look like we were making any progress

And we're still on exactly the same points after 16 games as last season, when we were 11 PTS off top rather than 2.

6 points separates the top half of the table this year

Given their support was so quiet and ineffectual was it a good idea to sell them so many tickets?…💣

Agreed, Toal outstanding.  Johnston fine but not one where he stood out as he has sometimes, and none of his trademark 40 yard passing.  But Toal the best defender, and the best player in possession.  I thought everyone else, from the full backs to the midfield to the forwards, had an off day.  Not one player upto their usual standard out of those 8.  Bradford were exactly what I thought they'd be, organised, fine in possession, no pace to worry us, not really a threat.  On a good day, or even just Duberry having a good game by his standards, and we win that.  I'd be happy to play them again next week, because I don't think we have many home games where we don't play better than that.  And I'd expect Simons won't be dropped again, that didn't work.

Frustrating game but nowhere near as much as if we'd have been mugged with a late goal and that was the creeping feeling we were all getting. Still unbeaten at home though.

I think the chief frustration is that you can see with the pedigree of our forward players that we have goals in us but sometimes just getting that first one seems to be the biggest hurdle.

This division is absolutely wide open. Its ripe for the taking.

Next week is a test. Luton are a proper Jeckyll and Hyde outfit. As good as our form has been and as high as we are in the league we've still only won one of our seven away games. Improve in that area and its a big contribution to getting us where we need to be.

In my mind our strongest starting XI includes many of those who started v Wigan - Erhahon, Simons, Gale, Forss etc. Be interesting to see the starting XI next week and beyond and how SS evolves it.
