When they win the ball back, have a look at their goals. 5-6 players in and around the box. We’re going to need legs in midfield to cope with that, but we also need players who are going to look after it. I really can’t pick a midfield for this other than Simons, plus another, plus a #10. Take your pick! May also play into our hands too. We have pace in the team, and can break quickly ourselves. If they commit so many forward, there will be gaps at the back. Quote
Mounts Kipper Posted November 20, 2025 Posted November 20, 2025 Any spares going for Saturday? Will take one but looking for 2. Quote

gonzo Posted November 21, 2025 Posted November 21, 2025 Rumoured team being sent about on WhatsApp has Morley and Sheehan as the two and Dempsey in at 10. Can't see a world where Simons doesn't start but that's the rumour. I'm almost certain it's a figment of @royal whites imagination. Quote

Eddie Posted November 21, 2025 Posted November 21, 2025 No way Simons doesn’t play unless he’s injured. Quote
Whitesince63 Posted November 21, 2025 Posted November 21, 2025 I agree and with Schu saying he has a fully fit squad I can’t see him being injured unless it’s in training but I certainly hope not. Quote
Marc505 Posted November 21, 2025 Posted November 21, 2025 Hello pre-game nervous excitement, it has been a while. Quote
mattbwfc19 Posted November 21, 2025 Posted November 21, 2025 Huge game this. We are unbeaten all season at home, with 8 wins in a row. Bradford haven't won in 5 in the league. All points towards an away win. Hoping for a similar first half to Wigan. Big crowd, fast start and a half empty away end on 40 minutes. COYWM Quote

Lostock Whites Posted November 21, 2025 Posted November 21, 2025 (edited) Do people remember not like they would have any good reason to, back when we were last in the Championship under the ownership of he who shall not be named. He used to bang the drum every home game demanding 20k gates in which we were averaging just 15k so it could help with funding transfers. 26/27,000 will be there tomorrow for a game in the 3rd tier. Let that be a lesson to that idiot of what good ownership looks like at a football club. Edited November 21, 2025 by Lostock Whites Quote
Big E Posted November 21, 2025 Posted November 21, 2025 i wonder how many folk have bought a ticket for the cup game by mistake Quote
