They wanted to play him at 15 but couldnt because of the FA. He never went to play on loan in League 1 or the Championship, boom right in and scoring. Ritchie is currently our most exciting young prospect, he's 18 soon to be 19, and he's a no10, I proposed he play in a dual no10 formation, the same one SS used to get Plymouth promoted. To top it off, he's in good goal scoring form right now. Not forgetting he's already played and scored for us against a league 2 team in the cup. You dont rate him to start because he's not coming from a Championship or PL team, if he was you'd be hailing him as the second coming. Nasty bias some fans have against our own B and Youth team players. Quote

I firmly believe we have the squad to outperform but I just think SS is getting so much wrong that I think it’s now being passed on to the players. I know the inverted wingers thing worked initially but it hasn’t done for s couple of months now as teams have found it out yet Schuey seems not to see it. The constant chopping and changing can’t possibly help players when they fear dropping for the next game however they play. Even the five substitutes every game achieves nothing positive just destroys any rhythm built up and must hack the players off who are replaced. There’s no question in my mind that we can win tomorrow but unless something changes system wise I don’t see it. Just hoping the chances go in for once doesn’t do it for me and if that’s all Schueys got then frankly I fear the worst. You asked me why I was dreading it yesterday 😂 Quote

I remember a certain Neil Whatmore being given a chance one midweek at I think Swansea when nobody had heard of him and he never looked back. They just need a chance so let’s be brave. Quote

Ok, so expain why you think he's our "most exciting young prospect", to such an extent you think he should start against Wigan tomorrow? What are you basing this on? Edited January 16 by Cheese Quote
W.cramp Posted January 16 Posted January 16 In a obviously perverse way, I am looking forward to tomorrow's game. My mood may change come 12.45 Quote
Cheese Posted January 16 Posted January 16 (edited) Bonham number 1 then. Bit contradictory that he's disappointed to see Cogley go when he's hardly started him all season. Edited January 16 by Cheese Quote

What are you basing this on? I can only suggest you watch some of the youth team matches and ask Julian Darby. It's clear watching them he's a step above, he made Cat1 Leicester City look non league. He's our youngest goal scorer in 44 years and he's scoring for fun right now. He's got quick feet like Conway and he knows where the back of the net is, something everyone here has been crying about for 3 weeks. Quote
