The next Zach Clough would do tbh

Didn’t Clough make his debut and scored against Wigan in Fa Cup?

Not saying Ritchie is the answer right now but it would be nice to see another come through the youth team and have first team success. Did look sharp again Oldham when he came on.

Think tomorrow would be considered too big a pressure game for him but sometimes youth are fearless. Anyway SS call to make.

Bro...you were a happy clapper and wanted to give Evatt another year, hell you'd have probably given him a decade.

Your opinion to me is a joke and everyone on here thinks you're a nit picking, hair splitting  dick head.

Enjoy

I know for a fact he substitutes a d for a t when he's broadcasting.

Remember Brockbank against Wigan completely froze and never bounced back.

Not sure if it was his debut but not far off if not, always remember watching soccer saturday that day, john Gwyn was watching our game and he was raving about him.... "Zach clough....remember the name!"

Kinda panned out the same way as Carlos Braithwaite for the cricket chumps among us, sadly.

Wiggun Pathetic 2

Bolton Wanderers 3....

It's gonna be a cracker!!

Coyfwm

Wish more fans could be a bit positive. Their 15th for a reason, they've won one of their last six. As we have but wev'e got in the top 6 by being a much better team. Nows the time to show the pie eaters, what a good side we can be.

The actual Zach Clough would probably improve us at the moment.

I have found myself thinking a Zach Clough type is exactly what this team in the setup is crying out for, still a damn shame how it all played out for the lad, could have been special.

At home.  The results home and away are so different its pointless pretending our wins have any influence on whether or not we are better than Wigan when the games at their place.

We can't keep a clean sheet or score more than 1 away.   We'd all take a 1-1 draw now surely until such time that SS makes us competitive.

If we were no better the Wigan we'd be around 15th place.

We've been better than Wigan this season I agree.  But we aren't at home, we're away unfortunately.

Course we can win, but we'd have to be better than in any away game so far except Huddersfield.  That's why I'd take a draw even if its a bit lucky like at Doncaster, I just don't want them to win their cup final and taking 4 points off them in a season would be the best we've done for donkeys years.

A draw is still a shit result in the context of the season.

Nothing to celebrate taking four points off them if we're still in the same division next year.

I’m with you, Tom. No way I’m celebrating a draw tomorrow.

We’re temporarily a bit shit but they’re full time very shit.

This new formation is going to turn us into prime Brazil. They won’t have a fucking clue where ACD is - all just turning round wondering where the fuck he’s gone whizzing past them.

This match is nothing to do with which division we're in next year, IMO.

That's like saying if we don't go up the 4-0 win may as well not have happened.  But that was the best memory of watching Bolton in 2025 by some distance (winner at Huddersfield the best minute).

If every season was only ever about promotion, there's a lot of pointless matches.

I won't be celebrating a draw (unless its a 95th minute equaliser or we come from 2 down).  But we are very poor currently, so I'll settle for a draw.

But I'd have settled for a draw at Huddersfield at H-T.

We’ll be walking out of the DW singing “it’s 3 in a row, it’s 3 in a rowwww, you shit Wigan bastards, it’s 3 in a row”

Exactly. Tactics and selections for another time. Just enjoy this to get you in the mood:

Nervous now cant sleep . we are in full tilt in poker terms . Got a really bad feeling , think we will crumble , hoping for a turn the corner performance and a raggy win of any kind .
