Definately owe them one, after they beat us at their's. On paper we've got the easier match of the clubs in the top eight. Nothing less than 3 points.

I accept there needs to be patience and to be honest, any win will do, but this idea that we’re hard done to with the number of games is a bit overly defensive of the team / performances. We weren’t shit on Saturday because we’d played 2 more games since Boxing Day compared to Orient - we couldn’t have wished for a better / easier run over the traditionally hardest part of the season. We were just a bit shit, but we won.

I didn’t say we were hard done to. It was a simple observation about something that is one of many factors in the ultimate result of a football game.

Fair enough, hard done to probably the wrong wording. I suppose I just don’t think those extra couple of games are a massive factor in us looking a bit shit. And if they are, we should have used our squad better.

Anyway, regardless of number of games, I think we’ll win on Tuesday and by a couple at least.

There's a group of 12 of us who usually go. We very rarely have full attendance, but usually around 8/10 of us every game.

This season we've completely tailed off and for the first time ever we had zero there on Saturday.

Think we've 3 confirmed so far for Tuesday.

What has happened this season as attendance (actual, not tickets sold) does seem to have tailed off a bit? 

Boredom of the same league for 5 years? Or could just be a run of really uninspiring games over this winter period. I am definitely looking forward to the next game with a decent away following

Can only speak for me and my lot (some have been going since 70's, others since 90's).

I can't remember it ever being as dull to watch. It's not exciting or entertaining at the moment.

This leaves us open to better offers, which wouldn't have even been a consideration in times gone by.

Boredom of the same league is probably about right too.

Horrible side to play against, always have been. 

Dark arts from minute 1, hopefully an early goal will help avoid another close run thing game like Saturday, but can't see it to be honest. 1-0 Whites, just. 

Tomorrow night feels like a really big night in the season for us.

The way the game is played compared to even 10/15 years ago is so different.

Think there have just been too many games in short period, we had 3 out of there Saturday. : or 4 Tuesday. 
 

Add in the not so great weather and people not having paid since Xmas, who in the right mind is going to take the family to Bolton v Orient in the middle of January as a treat ? If you are paying for ticket on day you are doing in north of £100 for tickets and crap you buy on day to watch.

I think it’s a combination of too much on TV now and their switching of game times, the weather and the pretty dire football on offer. To be fair to the club they’ve kept ticket prices down to the lowest level possible so there’s no more they can do but at the end of the day you want to watch exciting football and recently it’s been anything but that, more frustrating than anything and that’s never good. Hopefully as the weather picks up, we get some good signings in and results and performances improve things will look a lot better.

I was thinking the same, its become more of a grind this season with us, factors certainly including run of games against opponents with the same MO, poor officiating allowing games to descend into pantomime shithousing, and our collective loss of form / confidence, but there's a wider loss of enjoyment across the board that I see bemoaned across the socials by folk from clubs of all levels. 

The joy has been sucked out of Premier League football through VAR, in the EFL its more of the above, emphasis on grinding points out by hook or by crook by some coaches, other Poundland Peps turning their fans off with tedious attempts at 'possession based football' to satisfy some rich but dim owner who thinks its cool to have a 'vision and a project'.

They played well against Lincoln and should’ve at least got a draw; ripped off by the officials as well
