Burton Albion (H)

Definately owe them one, after they beat us at their's. On paper we've got the easier match of the clubs in the top eight. Nothing less than 3 points.

Sam dalby take a bow son, you’ve had to bide your time, you’ve worked your bollocks off since getting into the team. Mom tonight.

  • Lead the line and linked up play all night then bags two. Some of you really are thickos.

I thought Tutu was our best player on Saturday.

He's just played 3 games in a week and looked knackered by the end. Don't want another injury which he is prone to

Gutted about ACD on his day a proven match winner, but he’s not ours so up to schuey to work the squad and others to step up with assists and goals.

It'll be cold

Ive got a rare mid week night at home tomorrow, not sure i'll make it as my Dad is now 80 and just can't sit there in the feeezing cold for 90 mins. I'll see how he feels but might be watching at home which is a shame as i get to so few home matches but i also want to spemd a bit of time with the folks whilst im there.

Stay home with him, family must come first.

Yeah - i think my Dad would enjoy it better. Plus he's now usually asleep by 8pm 😁

I struggled with my old man in his high eighties so I know how you feel. Stay safe. 👍

Think there have just been too many games in short period, we had 3 out of there Saturday. Will be same on Tuesday.

Add in the not so great weather and people not having been paid since Xmas, who in their right mind is going to take the family to Bolton v Orient in the middle of January as a treat ? If you are paying for ticket on day you are doing in north of £100 for tickets and crap you buy on day to watch.

Especially when we have Burton on Tuesday 😂😂

Saturday was our first game for 3 weeks, I'm puzzled by that.

Personally I was really looking forward to going just because it had seemed so long since I went to a game, plus this was a Saturday 3pm which feels like a rare treat.  The first since 13th December.

Lots of reasons not to go to a game especially in January but we can't claim too many home games recently.

And the weather/cost factor can be applied to the whole of November, December and January because of Christmas expesne, fair enough if folk can't afford to go but football's cheaper via S/Ts than its ever been.

If people didn't go its basically because they don't want to watch Bolton v Orient in L1.

These games are going to be more difficult now without ACD.

But there’s some good suggestions for our possible team with different formations.

It’s a good job we’ve got a few different ways we can play now. Despite the injury blows, we’ve still got some good options.

Think I’m more inclined to prefer the 3-4-3 tomorrow. However the suggested  four at the back options seem ok too.

Aye be a toss up between this and that silly 12pm one.

The official attendance will be 18000 though

Burton signed midfielder Andy Cannon on loan from Wrexham today, presumably he'll be available tomorrow.

That’s a decent signing actually but if he does play he won’t have had much time to train with his new colleagues.

Good player, aye, but he's been out for a year

Ineligible for tomorrow anyway

I was quite looking forward to going out for a bit of food, couple of pints and watching the match, but after reading this I might just stay in the nice warm house and get a takeaway.

I’ll be there as usual knowing that is usually a 60 minute trip will take me 90 minutes due to the M60 traffic.

Probably won’t get home ‘til gone 11 as well unless I leave before full time. The things we do.

Aye , why does the Burton match invariably fall on a Tuesday night in deepest winter ? Hope we can win this by any means possible. It won’t be Saturday neet at the palladium that’s for sure nevertheless we should have enough to beat these even with their bogie status.

Squeezing in a coaching session with a young athlete who's in the Northern Indoor Championships at weekend then hot footing over from Leverhulme Park to ground. Thin crowd will help traffic wise.

Hopefully we don't need those Bod and Baka injury time heroics this time
