Bugger, wanted a back 5 ideally. May need to shore up centre midfield in front now.

Sheehan may have been in before the apparent Forino illness and as a result he’s gone back to Dempsey for that very reason you mention but we’ll never know

Forino out by all accounts. Illness

now slightly worried about the back 2 if they are keen to get the ball in

Tutu, Toal, GJ & Conway back 4 the rest the same

same, really wanted them 3 at the back

Farino out will be a big blow Lack  of height at back GJ will get targeted at centre half

might be better sticking to a back 5 bring Christie or Taylor in

Lincoln City 2

BWFC 3......

It's gonna be a cracker!!

COYFWM!!!!

Is the Forino thing just a rumour, or fact ?

Agree on Forino, if he could only play v 2 opponents this season it would have been Stockport and Lincoln for me.

But I just don't see a back 5 unless we're dropping the 2 new wingers.  I find that unlikely unless their form nosedives.  I think we are a 442 team as shown by signing no less than 5 wingers, plus having Tutu already.  Only Tutu can be classed as a wingback, I don't see SS dropping all the wingers he's brought in.

May be not but not necessarily a game to play two wingers

Forino out by who's account?

He's been a rock since back in the side and if this dodgy rumour is true it's a worry as we don't have much height at the back

Really looking forward to this.  Nervous energy about it that I only really get for wigan, cardiff etc.

Schu seems the kinda guy that rallies us well for these type of games, starting well, go hard,  win. Not pissing about for a draw.

If we cant beat our rivals we shouldn't expect the rest of the league to do it for us.

Lets go!

If correct, the club is leakier than a broken sieve.

Taylor absolutely not. Liability.

My confidence has just gone from 60/70% to 10/20% if that's the case. These are so good at set pieces it's a Forino essential game.

Just got to go out there and outscore them then

What about our new Irish lad, he’s been on the bench enough, played in the B Team and is match fit. At 6’3’ and a stocky and strong guy I doubt he’d get pushed around much and should have something to prove. It may not be the game you’d have chosen to risk him in but sometimes needs must?

Maybe Christie slots in there with his experience

I would stick with Johnson

I don't really follow the logic of being a 442 team but then changing to a different line up (not just formation) to play anyone that has physicality or height?  Do we expect Lincoln to change how they play for this one game?  Genuine question, we seem to think our normal game isn't suited to beating a decent team, I don't really get it.

You know as well as I do that isn't our game away from home.  2 goals for us away is like scoring 4 at home - its our absolute maximum and if we're lucky will happen 3 times in the season.

The way to win this is to keep a clean sheet or at absolute worst concede 1.  If we concede I'll take a draw and move on to Reading.

Lincoln can’t change the way they play everyone knows what’s coming from them direct set pieces lowest possession stats in the division same  11 virtually every game not changed personal in last 5 .

but it doesn’t change the result one defeat since November snd unbeaten at home so no I wouldn’t expect them to change anything for us .

for us we’re still trying to find what works for 90 minutes but does give us flexibility to change mid game and keep the opponents guessing pre game to formation and personal

There was a discussion post Oxford on replacing Evatt and tbf @Mounts Kipper was recommending him.

Not the sort of behaviour needed in the trenches. 3 points incoming

I didn't get the impression their manager was overly concerned about this game or us in an interview I saw. They'll keep doing what they know works, up to us to do something different/unusual to knock them off beam

Try not to give them many corners , free kicks in our half and throws ins would help!

Taking our chances at the other end would also help.
