Genuine question. Does SS know his best 11. I think he changes the team too much.

I think it might be the fact that for once we have a squad capable of handling change and changing depending on what the opposition warrant

No doubt he's done well for himself, better than anyone could've predicted, but the football and the majority of his time with us was pretty fuckin miserable

Maybe, but he got us promoted and kept us up.

He gave us more pitch invasions than Evatt

People booing him when he arrived set the tone making it impossible for him from day one But yes he could have tried to mend bridges but was to stubborn .
But personally i always prefare winning football not arsed on the style of play or if the manager is an ugly horrible cunt just win games . Winning in style like Colin Todd’s side is the cherry on the top but it’s nearly impossible to achieve regularly

I prefer winning football too. Which is why I couldn't stand Megson

Did alright signing Cahill, Taylor and Steinsson

Less said about Rasiak the better though

Why give it back to Bonham to punt up field - adding extra risk - rather than Toal punt it upfield? It was poor from Toal. There was no benefit from going back and there was some risk. Bonham then did a poor job too.

I don't disagree, Toal should have cleared his lines but Bonham did have plenty of time to get rid.

Megson made some absoultely desperate signings didn't he.. Rasiak, Ariza Makukula (who was probably a month off being fit when he signed), Danny Shittu, Ebi Smolarek

Parky is way above Megson for me

Steinsson - miss

Taylor - miss

Cahill - hit

Muamba - miss

Elmander - miss

Riga - miss

Shittu - miss

Mark Davies - hit

Sean Davis - miss

Knight - miss

Ricketts - miss

Chungy - hit

I make that 3.5 hits out of 13. Awful

I'd imagine the squads of many of the clubs they're competing against cost similar, if not more

No manager suceeds everywhere, but he has a proven record of suceess in his career, both at Wrexham and elsewhere

Wrexham spend looks substantial but is roughly equivalent to the combined cost of two of Ipswich's players. If Parky left there tomorrow he'd get another club out of L1 or 2. He knows what he's doing

not having Steinsson and Muamba as miss, and certainly not Matt Taylor

and yet you rate Cohen as better?

36 points to play for so 'no surrender' here.

If we don't catch them, all the whiners will be cheering the loudest and saying they 'never doubted it' after the final whistle at Wembley.

Not a case of surrender, just realisation that on balance, there are two better teams, and even at 36 points for us, that would require them to drop 10+ points.

I certainly can't see us gaining 12 straight wins, which means one of the top two has to go on a catastrophic run.

As I've said before, I reckon Cardiff are more likely to wobble, and I think Lincoln will win the league. Nevertheless, we need a bit more than a wobble for that to come to fruition.

For our part, obviously we need to win games, but also find a reasonably settled side, and allow players- in particular new signings, to integrate more fully. Ensure qualification, and then be ready for the play offs.

Yeah Cohen cost 65k from memory and didn't disappoint whereas the others cost 100 times that combined and, Muamba aside, are quite forgettable in terms of being Bolton players.

Matty Taylor cost 3.5 million and was a definite hit. Scored 23 in 123 games. Some belters too. West Ham away , burnley away. Covered left back occasionally too. We wouldn't let him shag our wife if he was shit would we lol.

Blackpool were fantastic……..really ?
One manager reacted the other didn’t……well he didn’t have time we’d already conceded  ??
Are you a WUM or just
or just a Evatt groupie

I think if we were fighting relegation, playing away to 3rd in the league and created as many chances as they did and came away with a point, we'd be saying we we're fantastic. I know a few Blackpool fans who also thought they were fantastic on Saturday.

I don't know how to answer your last points because they don't make any sense.

That's the issue with this forum at times, you can't have an opinion without being accused of being so far one way or the other.
