Got to Rotherham early doors one year with @victor meldrew. Got refused entry to Milmore because I had a little too much to drink. Which I couldn't argue against. Mainly because I couldn't talk. Anywa

I like Burstow, and he offers us something a bit different. And I'm with you on his attitude. He doesn't moan or grumble when he's benched and always celebrates goals like he's scored them himself. Ev

Depends how we go on.  We'd hope to win the next 3 (a given if we're going to make a go of it) which leaves us needing to win at Plymouth and Stockport.  Not impossible.  15 points would put us 4 behind Cardiff and still to play them.  Even 13 points would give us a chance as beating them would put us 3 behind.

We definitely won’t win at Stockport 😎😂🙄

Sorry to be pedantic as know what you meant but it is 5 in the morning and I can not sleep

Lincoln have made up 10 points in last 10 games compared to Cardiff, and beaten them which is what we need to do. So there is hope…However Lincoln took 28 points from last 30 which is mad !

Really confirms what Zico says we need a Cardiff wobble and an equally mad run as Lincoln to catch up. The three consecutive draws dropped us back, but too many points dropped in games we should have won early season and the poor form around Xmas have hurt us.

We have got 9 points in 6 games against current bottom 4. (In the actual league not the form table)

Only thing for certain is to put pressure on Cardiff we need 3 points Saturday.

A few more thumping wins like v Exeter and I'd get excited but that game aside, we've largely been playing well and grinding out results, winning by the odd goal.  On such fine margins, we're just as likely to drop points in the upcoming games as Cardiff are imo.

Should add the odds of us catching Cardiff will lower than the odds of us beating Wycombe when 2-0 down in 88th minute.

So however unlikely it is possible

Let’s just do our bit and the rest will happen or not and we celebrate v Luton or at Wembley. COYWM

It's nice to be looking at permutations for trying to crack the top 2 but all we need to focus on is winning this one Saturday.

Whatever happens 3 points on Saturday means the gap is only 6 points for at least a couple of hours.

If we can get to end of March and the gap is 5/6 points, the race is on.

We're due a win here.

Rotherham 0 please

1966 you could say that 😂

That horrible day at Millmoor in 1991 when a Tony Cunningham double put us 1-2 up only for us to blow it with chronic defending and automatic promotion with it. I reckon that is the only time we have come close to a win there since 1966.

We have had some draws. Christian Doidge scored there in a 1-1 a few years ago. Much longer ago there I seem to recall an unlikely 1-1 when we had to put Wayne Foster in goal because Simon Farnworth had either been sent off or injured.

But there have also been some proper hammerings. Unlike Blackpool where there have been games we could and should have won since we last did in 1977, Rotherham has largely been a place where the light of hope has rarely even flickered for a few moments.

As jinx venues go I would not be celebrating this anywhere near as much as a win at Bloomfield Road but it would be good to see all the same. And by gum we need it to keep the pressure on the taffs.

One I'd add is a 1-0 defeat to them. Seem to remember a left back (?) called Pat Heard scored a fucking screamer with his right foot. Sharrock wrote something along the lines, "his right foot is usually only used for standing on". Probably about 1988.

People saving for more attractive trips to come or think the chase is forlorn? Or just the stupid KO and can watch in the pub?

All of the above.

Considering all of the above, over 2,000 is pretty good going. Some clubs in our league could only dream of taking 2,000 away fans to even their biggest of games.

That’s questionable. Don’t get me wrong not trying to be billy big bollocks but when you’re pulling 20k at home surprised all your away games aren’t selling out.

It’ll be sold out by the time it kicks off tomorrow if we’ve only apparently got 150+ left now.

I think early kick off and train issues will be the biggest reason as to why it didn’t all go in the first few days (as most do) but there’s also no doubt that some will be a bit more picky now that it looks like it’s guaranteed play offs.

I would have thought that the voucher they are giving out for priority for the play offs would have encouraged more to buy.

Who cares how many are going. 3 points please

I got that email when purchasing port vale tickets this morning.

Come on guys if we can’t beat the Millers this time we should give up. They’re still wracked with injuries and a number of players and staff didn’t train early in the week with a virus so they surely can’t be fully 100%. We still owe them one for that 6-1 tubbing they gave us a few years ago so hopefully we won’t just win but win well. I have a feeling this may be the game Apter finally find his feet becausecMillers are nowhere near the physical sides we’ve seen in recent years so I’m hoping he finally hits his stride. Surely we must have far too much for them this time? Travel safe all those coming over and wrap up because it’s bloody fleeing. 😁

Rotherham 1

Bwfc 2

2 goals in the last 5 minutes from the Whites, after earlier meltdowns from the usual wetwipes......
