bwfc_sue
For all he's done for the club, I think it's a bit cheeky if he does turn up. I would applaud him for what he did for our club, but he's a cheeky coont for being a lying sod!

bwfcuk
Typical Allardyce still wants all the media attention. We do not need the Allardyce circus distracting us today so thanks for the good times Sam now fcuk of and leave us alone.
Gonk
Typical Allardyce still wants all the media attention. We do not need the Allardyce circus distracting us today so thanks for the good times Sam now fcuk of and leave us alone. but if he turned Garty's very public invitation he'd have got slagged off too. Personally, him being there adds a bit of spice to the atmosphere - a lot of people aren't sure wether the crowd as a whole are going to applaud him or give him pelters - I think it'll add something. I also think that Garty has played a blinder too, by shouting it from the rooftops. I reckon Sam will be squirming in his seat

Moderators Carlos Posted May 13, 2007 Moderators Share Posted May 13, 2007 Anyone who boos Allardyce is just brain dead imo Why? He's just shat all over the club and is returning to rub it in. Come back in a few years when you've really retired, not days after you've been exposed as a liar. People who cheer him are brainless idiots, imo of course. Burndens Bogs
Why? He's just shat all over the club AND IS RETURNING TO RUB IT IN. He told you that personally did he? FWIW i think Garty and Little Sam have asked him to show up because they (naively maybe) think he'll get a great ovation, and BSA has reluctantly agreed, but he probably realises his reception could be "mixed" - at best. He told me that personally :::::::::::: Edited May 13, 2007 by Burndens Bogs
Guest crazytrain
As has been mentioned, I think this is Gartsides doing and Sam is in a catch 22 situation - if he didn't turn up he'd get abuse and I'm pretty sure he'll get "some" abuse if/when he does turn up. I honestly don't think its Allardyce looking for publicity - I too think he'll be squirming in his chair. To be honest (which it appears Sam hasn't been) I will applaud him for what he's done for the club, but he would've got a much better reception if he'd just come out and effectively said "I've done as much as I can at Bolton and fancy a change/chance at a "bigger" club, so Villa will be my last game in charge - lets go out on a high" - imagine what the atmosphere would've been like then?? As it is, could go either way, but Sam will get a good send off from me and then he's history...

Mounts Kipper
I have no time for allardyce now, I will boo him if he takes to the pitch, if he stays in the directors box I will just ignore him, one more thing why does he always have to open his thick brummy gob, to say Bolton will never win a trophy is undermining the players our club and the fans, I sincerly hope he gets the boot in the traditional Newcastle style, he was one of us and should have been a legend I now think he is a gobshite.
